How do you extract the files like that? I'm guessing these are still being worked on since they are within the game but are not properly accessible.

By using Asset Studio GUI:
You must be registered to see the links
Insert the .assets folder into the application. Only relevant to most Unity projects.
Just keep skipping, some files are unable to be loaded.

With the thief girl and now the bandit leader having text in their defeat scenes, a translation might be required.
Also, I wonder who the new enemy is. It doesn't say so in the update on ci-en.
When you say enemy animation, you mean that the girls stay on ground after being defeated, or am i missing something else?
wow the new scene for the bandit boss in the alpha is pretty good, the detailed cutscene is something you only see in stiff turn based RPGs, not a real time game with pixel animations

Do you mean the pink haired Boss enemy with the sword?
tbh, a lot of the characters from the 1st game had long dialogue scenes.

No, the bandit throwing the rocks. When you get to her, she freaks out and runs over to you, throwing herself against you and crying for mercy. I don't know what she says, but I can tell what the idea is!
