Here we go, folks. I present to you a bit of story basis and some insight on my follow up to the first Succulence.
Succulence: The Second Semester
There will be a quick recap of what happened in Succulence and then an epilogue as follows...
After the events of the first game Serena needed to move on. She had allowed herself to be used and abused by so many in that town and at the school that she wanted to wipe the slate clean. Lucky for her she had the means to do just that, the brain manipulation device the science club developed. Using that she could erase herself from the people of she'd given herself to.
The city of Ahn in the other world were indebted to her, so she could ask them a favor. Serena travels to the city of Ahn and is gifted with crystals that will take her to a new area of her world. She bids farewell to those she'd aided along the way and uses her first crystal.
(These crystals must be charged with lust energy to function.)
Game begins with the first short mission which also gives a rundown on controls for newcomers.
She emerges from a portal near a farm just outside a small city. This was her second crystal, she'd went through hell wherever the first crystal took her and she's a bit worse for wear. Her hair is a complete mess at this point and there's no way Serena would allow herself to be seen like that. Serena is no stylist, so she ends up with short hair (after a few mistakes trying to get it even.) After stealing some clothes off a laundry line she finds her way to the city, where she gets a job as a teacher once more.

This new school is larger than the previous. There are similar clubs, but also a few more than before. I'll be sharing some of the planned clubs and their activities in a future post.
The new city Serena lives in lands her in an apartment complex where she'll meet a few interesting people. The next block down from her home is a red light district with a bar, a dance club, a strip club, and more. It is there that another Desire Shop will be located, one that existed before the one from the first game (and it has a story of its own.) Instead of the photo studio like the first game this place has a straight up Gravure Studio that does not only proffessional photoshoots, but also popular videos that are distrubuted overseas.
All of the places mentioned so far will have their own scenarios and Serena can earn extra money (and lust energy of course.)
As for the hair...
I received some criticism for Serena's short hair and I did state it was for story reasons. What I didn't explain is that it's a temporary state. Second Semester will progress through chapters/episodes. Serena's hair will change a bit after time passes, as the next chapter/episode begins. In the original Succulence there were times that if you did something Serena wouldn't be able to travel between worlds (like a couple important events in Ahn and the Science Club corruption.) These chapters/episodes are sort of like that. After completing all the starting events in the area the game will progress to the next chapter/episode, time will pass, and every situation will escalate.

As you may notice, I have chosen a bangs style that covers less of
her forehead. This allows more expressive faces since you can see her
eyebrows and it really opens her face up. Changes after visiting the other world.
In the next art & story post I'll discuss the new "other world" and how it differs from Ahn.
