No one is comparing games. I'm not following the conversation. I just replied to a post that says it takes 8 fucking yeas to make a bog standard RPGmaker or Renpy porn game because that is utter bullshit and i gave an example. And don't even get me started on "if you don't pay your opinion is worthless" spiel, but i refrained from touching that subject as i just recently did it in a different thread.

As for this game: i like it a lot
As for this game's development: The years are starting to add up, the version number (another classic) is still below half and now the art is getting fucked with. All bad signs but not enough for me to label it anything yet.

Nobody said that a game couldn't be finished in two years. Minecraft was too.

HOWEVER.

It is entirely unreasonable to EXPECT a game to be completed in two years, or to insinuate the developer is doing something wrong if they do not put out the full game in that time. My list of examples was meant to point out that AAA developers, teams of hundreds of people who spend at a minimum 8 hours of their days and probably 5 or more days a week, working on the game, who have professional training and the possibility of a customized in-house engine, usually take around 5-6 years to put out their games.

It's very nice that your game was put out in 2 years. Props to that dev. But it is hardly unreasonable to allow Lime to have more leeway. Game development is not a race, and the game does not lose anything or become a scam just because Lime decided to put more time and effort into their own game.

And why are you bringing AAA game development into the conversation? What the hell does a Renpy or RPGmaker game have to do with AAA game development? False equivalency galore.

Also, did you just list having a proprietary game engine as something that speeds up or facilitates development? lol
Yeah, there's a reason every AAA slop game nowadays is made with Unreal Slop 5, sunshine.

I know that an artist’s style "evolves" over time. However, I consider this new direction an overall downgrade. The game has lost some of its unique visual identity, and the current style feels less distinctive compared to the previous art. Imo, the MC was at her cutest and hottest in the earlier style shown below. What got me into this game was screenshots of the hot MC in a cool style while scrolling F95. I'm serious when I say the me from back then wouldn't try the game if he saw the new style.

i didnt really think about it like that before. i suppose i have less artistic vision and it shows. perhaps it wasnt that great and you might be right

mate he said many times he's not directly accusing Lime of scamming only that there's red flags. and you still bring up TF2, TESVI, Halo as if its even remotely comparable. i dont think that makes any sense

If anyone remembers ancient history Noxian Nights was made in a little over a year I think. Karryn's prison, which is pretty much the gold standard of porn games, was done in 2 years? At least it was 2 years between it first being posted on F95 and it releasing on steam.

If you mean the service with the cyborgs you need to improve the mood until a table shows the horny icon (the grotesque smile face). It's only then that the service option appears when you deliver drinks to that table.

For the basement you have to talk with the chud king and give him the stolen wallets

And the bottle just interactt with the chuds after a the work, eventually You get the scene
