this is very cool game, but terrible lewd material and awful "romanse"

Cons:

• you have to fill some stupid semem quotas, get food, medicine and drugs
• your sperm does not recover normally with resting and food/drinking, but you must buy drugs
• game is full of QTE minigames and other awful minigames you can fail
• most of the choices does not matter or result in instant game over
• Quota is constantly bigger than last time, you are just sperm dispencer, i would rather give her sperm drugs
• your character get tired and hungry instantly
• Any unlocks to make sperm or time less hard need to be worn instead of other things and you must go back to your apartment to change even basic amulet
• Map navigation is tiresome work with multiple clicks to travel anywhere and real time time-flow making basic scroll a time crunch
• i was forced to eat garbage a lot of times because of the minigames
• game is not easy even on easy
• sex scenes are like loading bar or lockpick animation in other games - aka arbitrary nothing, but if you blink you might run out of vitality and game over,,,
• Girl doesn't cum at all, you just dump her sperm and thats it, making whole relationship very toxic
• you can't even talk to her and when you nearly kill yourself at work, eat garbage to afford more sperm drugs she tells you to take better care of yourself and game over you very next day!
• Voyerism and stalking are the names of side stories in this thing
• technically you can spend all the money on coffee and food to never sleep, but you can't just eat 5 food items at once, so its clicking fest
• you can't use or eat items anywhere, you must go back to your aoartment to eat even most ready to eat meals
• Rushed gameplay tempo and single mistakes can fail everything you did
• no gallery unlock to bypass side story trash after you finished the game
• sex is boring in this game, as fuck, position is just cum extraction tempo, there is no love and you can't even interact with her during sex

Summary: play it if you don't mind difficulty, rushed tempo of gameplay and constant failures, eating garbage, lack of stamina, food, energy, sperm, money and whats not

It's quite a pervy game despite the dark underline tone.
Though all iteration of succubus, this game manage to put it in such a grey area.
Because in the end, whose to say that it's all wasn't in our player character head?

The game at it's core is scene viewer, the management is just there to put a break on constant action. Because of that a lot of progression tied to requirement that can sometimes be missed or not that clear.

One feature that still struck with me is using in-game extra content to enhance the world building.
It make a nice epilogue and a closure to the story.

Neat little game where you try and fulfill a succubus needs while under a time limit. You need to make money to keep yourself fed and to buy vitality potions so you can put out more. While a bit fun, the game is quite easy. So most of the time is spend out grinding out money to try and get sub events done. This game asks for quite a bit of your time for not a whole lot in return.

The worst part is probably the fact that raising affection with the side girls can only be done with gifts, which require money. You basically need 40k yen to do the side girls. That is over double the amount of money needed to beat the game, so why require all this extra work.

This is the best. Top 1 game of all, it's a pity that does not have a sequel, i would play 10 of this even 10000. Thanks for the share. Good art, good story, fun to play, and the freedom you have to walk away and take choices give a vibe like been inside the game.

Sure, it might not be as full of content as any of the Memories saga, but the vibe is there. Ah how I wish 'DO' would make more games.

Definitely recommended to cheat a bit in the game and get yourself infinite money & buy every consumable ASAP - you'll need them.

Certainly good graphics and animations for the succubi.

What I would preffer is to use those animations for the rest of side characters as well.

Even with the othet 2 succubis too.

The true ending was really shocking as you may notice, the pharmacist was selling drugs and we were all this time hallucinating.

Another great game by DojinOtome, a creator of awesome shouta content. The pixel art is nice, and the minigames are fun. Even though I’m not a big fan of the succubus genre, it still works well here. It’s a fun game, though not as good as Summer/Winter Memories.

A bit grindy and the minigames were carried over into the author's future games with summer and winter memories.

Don't expect any open world H scenes. You need to have at least 400 stamina so you can actually start to enjoy the game.

A casual resource farming game with fantastic 2D animated and voiced H-scenes, grinding the endings is a horrible pain, so don't do that, import a save instead.

The story is trying to take itself seriously but you probably won't be taking it seriously at all. The only real gameplay are cash earning mini-games where you need timing and memory.

Fun and simple premise. Love the smaller graphics here, it brings a certain charm to the game. The OST is amazing in this game and there's many positions and scenes for you to try with multiple girls around the neighborhood. A simple and easy game to play.

Gameplay:
+ Life management with eating, sleeping, earning money and fucking
- Events have hidden requirements and are bound on timing, which are not always easy to meet/find out.
- Money earning very grindy

Frequency of scenes:
+ Frequent enough, since you need to satisfy a succubus daily

Dialogues:
+ Not too much, which is perfect, because game has heavy focus on management.

--> All in one: The game looked very tempting. The gameplay was also okay, but the money grind was annoying. To unlock all ending, you need to replay the game, while keeping your stats, but certain stats (imho very important ones) are not kept. 4 of 10.

Should I give it a try?
Yeah you can. But play it at easy, it is not really worth the trouble on normal level based on how grindy money earning is, regardless of difficulty.

Kagura games are the goat, but this one feels rather unfulfilling.
first of all, succubi characters are almost always just breathing fleshlights and this time its basically no different. She shows up, your main character has to fuck her, some non h-related "drama" happens and thats the main plot. Boring.
Much more interesting are the side stories, which end just about as soon as they begin. There is incest, cheating, voyeur etc but they all basically get 1 or 2 scenes before they finish. The majority of the game is spent grinding, sleeping and eating, which I didn't mind too much, its just that the H-related results are lackluster.
If you asked me, I'd say throw the whole succubus story out and make the game revolve around the side stories. but thats just me. The sprites are still beautiful and the scenes are.... ok... its just that the best content either ends too quickly, or takes too long to appear. Or both.

- Some cute things such as playing music for animals

Bad
- The grind. It would be okay if you could skip jobs after maxing them or if some of your vitality was restored by sleeping (like in every other co-habitation game), but once you figure out how the systems work you realize you only need two days to meet your quota and the rest is spent grinding stats/money.
- "True" Ending. Other reviewers weren't exaggerating when they said it takes the plot and dunks in the toilet. The first twist was reasonable. Could've been set up better, but okay. However, instead of leaving the ending a bit mysterious, the dev decided to add in a second twist which explained everything in one of the worst ways possible while also completely changing the tone of the game.
- Two of the voyeur animations aren't included in the gallery.

YMMV
- The translation is a bit dodgy in places. Yeah, it's mostly little stuff you might only notice if you do some translating yourself or play a lot of MTLs, but it shows that KG skimped on the QC.
- The diversions aren't particularly robust. Instead of experimenting with gifts to find the most efficient way to raise the sub-heroines' affection you can just feed them all your spare pulls from the gachapon. There's also a whole tutorial for the fidget spinner minigame when all you need to do is dump all your points into spin power and go make a cup of coffee.

I played this game because I was such a big fan of the creator's later work, Summer Memories. While I think Summer Memories is the better game, Succumate isn't bad. It's just not particularly amazing either.

The animated cutscenes for this game are fantastic and I even prefer it over any of the animation in Summer Memories. And some of the heroines for this game have really great stories that build up to satisfying and hot endings.

However, note that I said that this applies only to *some* of the heroines. There are some women in this game where, for example, their story ends with your character peeping on them having sex, or ends with a blowjob, or a titfuck. Not terribly satisfying.

The actual gameplay is also so-so. I don't mind minigames too much, but there at least needs to be a variety of them or else the game gets too tedious. In this game, money is very important, and there are basically two minigames used to earn money. Repeating those minigames dozens, maybe even hundreds of times over the course of reaching all the endings gets old very quick.

Still a good game worth playing, but just with some flaws that get ironed out in the creator's later game.

A cute little simulator game. The plot is whatever, it's not really the main focus. The lewds are quite good, though kind of difficult to access (more so because of specific requirements than actual difficulty), and the characters are all really cute.

The amount I'm using the word 'cute' here should probably tell you if you'd like this game or not: if you think that doesn't sound like something you're interested in, you probably won't like this game. On the other hand, it's quite a fun little experience, and not too difficult, so it's maybe worth a shot.

I really like all those functions, like playing band, encountering different heroines.


Especially how the true ending reveals the secret of the story

Of course, for a game who need to be in this thread, it's almost perfect, this company's works are brilliant, waiting for winter memories.

a game with great animations, characters full of personality, decent gameplay and amazing sex scenes. the gameplay gets pretty repetitive but the events keep you going, not a lot of content but enough to last you a couple of hours. the secret ending fucked me up though, why would they put this in the game (

The game is overall pretty good, the animations are solid, the banter between characters is cute and good, and it has a overall pretty comfy feeling going on for most of the game, besides a ovearching plot that you have to resolve that is fairly simple.

Here is the problem
It has 3 endings
two of them are fine
The last one sucks complete ass, and i wouldnt even recommend you to go for the "true end".
When you finish the first ending, and you go into the recollection room, dont even try to talk to the npc there that will indirectly try to force you to see that true ending.
Because it just ruins the entire narrative, like i cant believe that the whole game was pretty good, but the author just had to shit on the whole game, by doing one of the cheapest moves known in stories, without any reason, besides maybe coming off as some amazing plot twist that no one needed, not even the game itself, since it was already solid.

Underrated game, animations are perfect and the characters are well defined. The big problem with this game are the endings, which are all disappointing and are not satisfying at all, but I think the game might definitely be improved in the future. Or at least I hope so!

The animations are good, you have simple minigames and even on normal the time and resource management is trivial if you give some throught, albeit you may feel you are farming money every oportunity you can and the story is interesting to keep you invested, but is all for naught once you discover the true end and everything you had builded over your game doens't even matter. It just kill the rating
