Could be a cultural localization-
I know japanese, reading it goes a bit slow so I prefer english translated game, but hearing it spoken is fine and the sex scenes aren't really "translated". Which I think it's fine really. Japanese dirty talk and american dirty talk is so different that it's just weird if you translate it even semi-literally. About 2 thirds of the dialogue is cut and about 2 thirds of what actually written has no relation to what they're actually saying. But this is standard localization practices. You see this any commercial game, e.g. I played Breath of the Wild with japanese audio and it was a pain to read the english translation since it was different in important scenes.
