VN - Ren'Py - Summer Heat [v0.6.1] [Naughty Fox Games]

I can't contain my excitement when talking about "Summer Heat" – this game is simply outstanding! It deserves every one of its 5 stars and more.

You play as a young man, along with your best friend, his sister, and a group of intriguing young ladies, embarking on a life-changing summer camp adventure. The narrative is a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and unforgettable twists.

The characters are incredibly well-crafted, each with their unique charm, depth and sexy. The landlady is a true standout, not only for her striking beauty but for her complex character that draws you in completely. Her husband, on the other hand, is a character you'll love to hate – his antics add a touch of comic relief to the game.

Yes, the graphics are beautiful. All the girls are that too. There is a token ugly girl, but at least she is funny. And sadly that and the music is the only good part of the game.

The developer made two big mistakes. The first one is that the game doesn't have choices. We got some fake one, but that's it. Prime example for this when Kate asks you that do you want to help Miller. There is three choice: The first is is yes, but only because you asked (or something like that, so a YES) the second one is yes, and the third one is NO. So we can say no, right? No. If you choose the third one, Kate says you have to help Miller.

So the whole story feels forced. Not mutch later you watching TV with two girls. Miller comes and says that you must go with him. You can't even say NO. At least Miller could peak our interest saying that "lets go to a brothel", or something like that, but no, he is just saying that we are going, and that is it. You forced to go with him. Why? Because dev wrote a brothel, and If you won't go there, the 0.5 would be one hour instead of three.

The second big mistake is that there are tooooooo many girls. There is five in the house + Kate + Sometimes Car Lady. So that sould be enough for the start, right? No. There is more on the Ember app, and even more in the city. So we have almost twenty girl, for what? Fucking? No. Teasing. I would undestand that if we fucked every girl in the house, we would want "new pussy" eventually , but no, thats not the case. We SEE 20 girls, but cannot fuck 20 girls, they are just for teasing you. Everyone is giving you the do me eye, and we can fool around with some, but thats it. Sometimes it seems like dev can't decide the game is slow romance, or fuck it all. If it is the first, why force us Car Lady? If not, why the "OMG you hold my hand, lets just stop"?

This could be easyly a great gome, but not with these problems. Yes, the renders are fantastic, and I feel like all the five star ratings are blind by them.

Really enjoyable VN so far and I can't wait to see more.

Honestly, the best part is the unique models for each girl. They 'look' a bit more real than what I see from VNs generally and it really helps this game stand apart from others.

The story and writing isn't half bad; granted the girls seem to open up very quickly with the MC so this isn't much of a slow burn. I do wish there was a bit more effort needed to make them interested in you beyond merely existing but I don't hold it against the game, being that it's a porn game.

The UI and 'mechanics' of the VN are simple but provide a lot more than simply left clicking for however many hours whilst also not going overboard and becoming tedious which I appreciate.

Lastly, the scenes aren't quite top notch but close enough; combined with the fantastic models make for really nice h-scenes.

This is absolutely one of my favorite games I've gotten to try recently, and I think it has something for most people willing to take the time to read it.

It's a pretty incredible VN.
The girls are insanely hot.
The dialogue is good.

Feels like the main plot is only just starting though.

Minor complaints:
-> Sound could better. Mostly because some scenes have no ambient sound.
-> While none of the girls hop on MC's dick instantly like in the bad VNs, the girls are a bit overly interested in the MC for no real reason.
-> The girls can be a bit pushy getting with the MC, so if it's not a harem that could be unfortunate lol as it sucks to turn them down so ruthlessly.

Regardless of complaints, it's one of the best VNs on here. The only reason to not play is if you just want to wait for more content.

I wish it was going slower n the story, like a slow burner.
Some girls are jumping on MC's dic a litlle too quickly...
But the graphism is sooo good, I cannot not provide a five stars review.

Loving the game so far.

The story is simple (so far) but certainly not absent. The renders are great.

And Mia, Sophie and Bree are absolutely perfect. All the LIs (including in ember) are beautiful, but those three are also very well written in a way that appeals to me.

I think, in some ways, MC needs to dial back the horny. In some scenes its appropriate and called for. In others, it seems somewhat out of place, but in the end, the writing works.

I'd say this feels like a slow burn, until you realize that as chapter 5 ends, so to does day one. A lot has happened in one day! I find the pacing very much to my liking, however.

I have very high hopes for this game, and look forward to coming back.

The best renders and models i've seen on this site, the attention to details in the posing and facial expressions is impressive, the way the LIs convey emotion with their eyes is absolutely stunning. The lewd scenes are very hot, with good animations, tons of different angles an some great teasing and building up.

The plot didn't really take off as of right now, mostly focusing in establishing the characters and building up the world, but the dialogue is very well written and the story already had some impactful moments of bonding between the Lis.

Everything here is top notch. Even the plot is getting better update after update. We can see the effort that is behind this and damn... can't wait for newer updates to be honest.

If you haven't tried it yet, I don't know what are you waiting for.

This game is simply gorgeous. The renderings are amazing, exciting and the story is engaging. Each character has its own well-marked personality. At the moment one of the best games I've played. The only suggestion, but it depends on my personal taste, in sex scenes I would like girls to show their faces more when they have orgasms.

PROS
- Renders are excellent, no grainy renders here. Lots of attention to detail, there is an effort to vary the facial expressions, something even the bigger devs don't do.
- Some of the best sex scenes I've ever seen. The added SFX makes them seem x1000 better. Definitely up there with the best AVNs.
- No clicky grind or time-wasting mechanics. 90% VN, 10% freeroam/sandbox. The freeroam elements are straightforward and short.
- Characters actually take off their shoes before entering homes (woow the attention to detail guys).
- The way the UI, phone apps, and menus look and how they are organized is just phenomenal, very nice work.
- I agree with some of the other reviews that writing in the beginning was pretty poor. Some of the dialogue sounded like it was written by ChatGPT. But I won't penalize the dev for something he improved on. The newer chapters writing is decent with mature conversations and minimal filler. The conversation now have somewhat of a meaning or at least leads somewhere. My only hope is that the plot stays down to earth, so many devs eventually go for these convoluted scenarios like drug cartels, mafia, evil govts, superpowers, etc. Keep it simple, IMO.

CONS
- For some reason, If you quit the game and then reopen the game, you lose all your gallery pictures (I never installed any mods nor used old saves).
- So far, its very linear. You cant pick a particular path or stop pursuing a girl you don't like. You see everything in one playthrough. Its like you're being told a story and you're along for the ride. I'll update my rating if this changes.
- Its uhh.. definitely not the most "diverse" game out there lol... literally ALL of the 20 or so characters are caucasian/white. I don't wanna be "that guy" nor do I wish the dev to go full Netflix on us, but the lack of variety hurts. Too much of any one thing is dull.

The renders in Summer Heat are one of the best and captures the sexual tension between the protag and the main LIs really well. Story is coherent enough for character development of the main LIs and hopefully will have a payoff. If you are only in it for the sex, then hopefully the side chicks will be enough.

The rendering skills are excellent, with intricate details on each face and outstanding representation of water droplets on the body while swimming in the pool.

The interactions between each main female character and the protagonist are profound. The only minor drawback is the slow progression of the storyline, but it doesn't diminish the overall excellence. I thoroughly enjoy being in the game.

In the vast sea of choices, girls in this game are undoubtedly one of the finest in this genre. Story is still young but development is very promising and surely going in good direction. A top tier game worthy following in the future. Cheers

Really good for the most part, doesn't feel the need to shower you with content right from the get go and leaves room for things to become more familiar before opening up.
Seems very polished and looks good, the scenes are good and the characters are more interesting than you're used to from similar games. None of them seem too flat or boring but none of them are incoherent either.

What I don't really like is how the game insisst on having a character like Helen. The archetype wasn't funny the first time it was done and kinda feels like an incel rant.

Also I don't know what it is with games like this and trying to shoehorn in a crime/dark/sinister plot. We don't need the hundreth game that has a dark twist and gets the MC involved way over his head.

So far, very HQ renders, likeable cast. But I'd prefer it if we didn't have to go out on crazy adventures with Mr Miller, and could instead just focus on the main cast. They're just more interesting than stripper lady and storeclerk lady

Top notch VN! I tend to say the CGs are the best I've seen so far not only because of the visual quality of the environment, the bodies, the locations - but also because of the composition of the scenes and the style achieved by the devs.

The story is quite simple, cliche, not yet unfolded (v.0.5), but always seems to be believable in it's writing. The MC might be a bit too popular right from the start but well, it suits the genre & feels nice of course as player.. so, no complaints.

The dialogs are great as well. All main characters are likable (except for Helen I guess) and all have distinct personality traits that set them apart.

Music and sound effects are well utilised in key moments to further set the mood of the scene and add a bit more life where it fits.

Overall it's a great, quality game with hot and well written girls, top notch CGs, a simple (til v0.5), yet believable story and well utilised music + good sound design.

An AVN that superbly drives the narrative in this early part of the story with superb facial expressions to supplement the commentary of the major characters

Its clear that there is a history with the art camp and the adults in the group that is going to have major impact on future episodes.

The most detailed and more expressive of faces is reserved for the female characters , naturally due to it being an adult VN , yet it sells the mystery enough that you can only speculate on to what the future of this AVN will be.

Simply put , whilst its still in its infancy this is a clear sign of how much AVNs have progressed if skilled story and game developers are at the helm.

Fantastic game so far. The story and writing is great, well paced and fairly believable, and the game has some of the best looking character models I've ever seen, as well as good animations. Game isn't very grindy and the interactive sections are simple and easy to navigate. I'm really looking forward to more of this and hope the devs keep up the good work they've done so far!
