Many Unity games, this one including, uses BepInEx to inject translation and other modifications, so you need launch command. You need to instruct Wine to load locally present `winhttp.dll`, the BepInEx injector, instead of built in first, so for running it though Steam with Proton you'd set the launch command to `WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%` and then run the game's .exe file that is in the same directory as `winhttp.dll` with this launch command.I'll just rawdog it with wine, I do have proton tho, does it still need the launch command?
Was joking about fapping on the clock/while working, not calling you a NEET or something or some obnoxious dig or anything, but that's fine I guess.im sorry for being employed
anyway, to stop straying too far off-topic and actually contribute to this thread, i'd like to elaborate on my suggestion: bottles (or even wine itself) can be just as, if not more, convenient than lutris or steam once configured properly. i mean like you can just double click any windows game executable and run it as if you were on windows
To be honest, I don't understand what you're all talking about.Their games in general is quite well-optimized. While this game likely wouldn't run on my ancient laptop, their previous games are surprisingly playable if you know how to adjust the graphics. Probably help that the scope for 3D is just the sex scenes, so that mean not that many 3D models are rendered all at once compared to something like an action game.
There no mod. And it was done manully by a team of fan translator for IO.Is there a mod or something to add subtitles to inner voices? I ask because I remember someone doing it in the game Insult Order
A bit at at the end fo the story.played a bit but no ahegao face?
No.guys, can l get threesome with 2 girls in this game?
hasnt the developer done 3P before? they even have a whole entry dedicated to gangbangs. what makes this more difficult? customization? quality? But he [mentioned] in the Ci-En post about this that he would gave up on it if it end up debing to hard to make.
The problem, if I read the Ci-En psot correctly, is that in this game, the girls size is not fixed, which make it harder to create the scene unless you want some where there are stroking a dick while half a meter from say dick or sucking a dick with their head sticking out of the back of the guy...hasnt the developer done 3P before? they even have a whole entry dedicated to gangbangs. what makes this more difficult? customization? quality?
I'm not a modder or codder, but from what I gather, Unity isn't very modding friendly as an engine. Add the low number of modder... most stick to engine like RPG maker or Illusion's old one.Is this game very difficult to mod, or are people just not interested in doing it? I see so much potential for this game with mods, especially because it already checks the most important boxes for me: animation quality and physics. With a sliders mod and more clothing options, this game would improve significantly.
It's a shame if the game isn't modderfriendly it feels like wasted potential. Games like this are the ones you try for a bit and then never reinstall due to a lack of content. It's the opposite of Koikatsu, which I think is inferior in terms of scene quality and physics, but thanks to its modding community, you can always reinstall it and find something new.

oh! i see, thanks for your helpNo.
At least not yet ... hopefully.
There no 3P yet, the dev is actually trying to implement some. But he mentionned in the Ci-En post about this that he would gave up on it if it end up debing to hard to make.
So for now, it's like a potential, and much expected big patch for the game.
Hi. I have the exact same issue. Did you manage to find a fix? I'm trying to open it with Heroic launcher but it's always japanese.I start the game with the english launcher but everything is still in japanese when it starts, is this a Linux issue or am I missing something here?
hi. Do you know how to do it on heroic launcher? For those people that want to run the game in linux I have two options:
Via STEAM:
In Steam at the top left corner, click Games you will see Add a Non-Steam game to my Library.
At the bottom of the new window there's browse, click that.
Now navigate to the folder where your game is at and select the English Launcher.exe or the other Launcher.exe.
Then Open.
It should lead you back to the first window, with the Add Selected Programs now showing up (you can also verify by scrolling the list), click that.
Now the game is in your library, find the game and right click it.
Go to Compatibility and Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool.
Choose Proton, the one I used was specifically Proton 10.0-3
Then go back to the Shortcut and type this in launch options, "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%"
This launch command makes it so that the English Launcher launches you into the English Translated Menus otherwise everything would still be in japanese.
That's it you're good to go.
Via Lutris:
Open Lutris.
Click the + at the top right. Then click Add locally installed game.
Set the name, I set mine to Summer in Heat - English Launcher.
Then choose Runner to be Wine.
Then move to Game Options for the executable find the English Launcher.exe or the other Launcher.exe.
This part is important because this is where I initially failed, the Wine Prefix.
For this you're gonna have to create a random folder somewhere(would be better if it's close to your game directory), for me I created two for cleanliness.
I created GamesPrefix folder and inside that folder I created SummerInHeat.
Then going back to Game Options we're now going to navigate to the newly created SummerInHeat folder and select the empty folder as the Wine Prefix.
Set Prefix Architecture to 64-bit.
Then we move on to Runner Options.
Don't change anything here and go to the bottom where you'll see DLL overrides, click the add button at the bottom right.
It should create a new row, the key is "winhttp" and value is "n,b".
Then save.
You should be good to go.
