Unfortunately, that's very likely. Kross has been MIA for over a year now. Sadly, because I was enjoying this. A nice, simple, easy dating simulator.

That's typically what the abandoned tag means, yep.
Cookie is also correct. Even in its current state it's better than half the dating sim AVNs out there. Even some of the "complete" ones.
Dang, can't believe I still miss this game from time to time. It's just that good.
After so long SJ being abandoned, I haven't came across one with similar playstyle or story-background AVN,
anyone has any recommendation?

I'd be careful about requesting recommendations here, even with the game abandoned. It's against site rules (Rule #2.4). If you post a new thread asking on the Recommendations forum, you might get more responses. It will take me a bit to think about it too, but if you post here the link to the thread you create over there, I'll try to give some suggestions.
