I don't think its the same protagonist.
The protag in summer/winter is a '大学生の主人公' (college student), and in the 'Winter' game description, the events of the game takes place during the protags winter college break
The protag in the new work is written in the description as having graduated a school, but for some reason, the level of the school he's graduated from is censored: (〇学を卒業し)
Not sure why they had to censor the education level the protag graduated from, but that they didn't for the summer/winter protag but are censoring for the new games protag tells me its not college the new game protag is graduating from and therefore the protag is not the same as summer/winter.
Though it would be awesome if it is the same protagonist and they make a game featuring all three heroines in the future.
Hmm, so I went and read the game's synopsis to confirm something (after translating it)...
=> And yeah, it is the same protagonist. I mean, why would Dieselmine use the "Summer" title if that new entry wasn't part of the same series?
What's more, the two female characters we were introduced to are Hazuki's sisters ! If the facial traits wouldn't give it away, their "assets" most certainly would. ^^

I Concur. I asked Dieselmine a while ago if the protagonist was the same and they confirmed it was, although they did not say if there would another work with all 3 heroines in the future, but I'm fine just feeling that its a possibility.
But i don't recall them being sisters with Hazuki. Must of missed that.

That's quite sad for me that the devs ignore everyone and still try to push with the game engine as it is.
If one of them ever read this, please at least add this to your game:
C:
// TODO: Put this into initialization method of the game to always use Japanese locale.
System.Globalization.CultureInfo ci = new System.Globalization.CultureInfo("ja-JP");
System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = ci;
System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = ci;
For the rest of us here is a patch that fixes big crossed close button and black screens bug of the Outing DLC v2.0.
To apply it unpack the .cmd file into the game's folder where the .exe is and run it.
im curious, what does the paatch do and how does it work?

Hey guys, I'm having an issue which I can't see my money number and date. I think my game's version is 2.0, downloaded from here, does any of you know the solution to this bug?
Hey, 2 years late, but I had this issue and figured it out! For context, I'm running Linux Mint and emulating.

Game ran fine (with a couple Lutris setting altered) but same thing: couldn't see money or date. I tried tinkering with emulating NTLEA at first. Didn't work, but I noticed that the settings in the guide for it had the font set to MS Gothic. After some thinking, and a test in Windows, I discovered that the game pulls the font from the system (maybe this is typical but I didn't know that; thought it was baked into the game files and rendering wrong because emulation).

So here's what worked (again, this is Linux Mint):
1. Take the font file for MS Gothic (attached below).
2. Copy it to /home/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/ (or wherever your wine prefix is).

Bada-bing bada-boom. Hope this helps (whether you replay this or someone new has this problem)! I guess not, if you're in Windows lol (unless your Windows install doesn't have this font for some reason)
