It's already on their roadmap since last year, looks like it only get approved only recently.

Looks like they're having big compromise to get Samabake approved on steam, same thing happened with VR-Kanojo. If you look at the promotional image, the steam version had NO schoolgirl which PROMINENTLY present in japanese store version. So it looks like they had to cut everything with any school-related content. Worse if they have to cut all H-content completely. I don't think this is happening but... man I really hate this.

At worst, they should at least let Steam customers use their website to download any cut H-content, if it comes down to it.

Yeah, but Steam themselves doesn't allow publisher to give/publish info about any uncensor patch on their steam page, so customers must hunt info for themselves. It's just ridiculous...

Oh goddamnit FINALLY!!

Curious to see if there's any cut content on these 2 games. While VR Kanojo devs has already confessed there's major (and multiple) "rework" (read: censor) to meet steam "requirement", there's no statement from Illgames at all. But we have the JP version here to compare. I really hope there's no cut content at all...

The game is already more safe than pretty much all previous Illusion/Illgames works.
Cutting even more content would an absolute lol.
A couple more years from now and Illgames will probably start making teen rated games.

IP block for some countries or super bad connection to jp pages from your side.

Same characters uploaded to official game. Web version instead of in game.

Yep it's very hard, I only got once and it's pure luck lol, can't get to reliably trigger this. We may have more insight in the upcoming Samabake steam version.
Did you already check the wiki? Refer to this again and check your character may be you miss something...

I don't know if anyone could help me. My game started lagging and having low FPS recently, and it's using a lot more resources than before. I used to be able to play it fine without any issues. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Most probably you have a modded character with a lot of accessories consuming resources.
Same problem exists on Koikatsu with a Hoshikawa Sara and Baobahn Sith card eating up to 5/6GB of RAM, each.

Hmmm, could this be fixed by removing characters? Or just by deleting the character in question? I think I know which one is causing the problem.

Just delete the character cards (the .PNG files) and you're set. Or if you like the characters, keep the characters by going to edit character and deleting/emptying all the accessories attached to the characters, and then save it.

Also be aware if you adding any modded content to the game (ex: modded hair/body style/accessories/texture etc), it may contribute to the loading time. More content added=heavier game=more loading time & slow game. Delete everything you don't need.

By removing the character from the map slot is enough, or you can just edit the character and remove any accesories you don't find necessary.
