Ren'Py - Completed - Summer with Mia [S1 v1.5.4 Steam] [Inceton Games]

Good Points
+ Sex scenes have a lot of different position and animation, and some of them looks hot... So yeah they are good for fapping i gues...
+ Renders and animations looks decent enough.

Bad Points
- While renders and animations looks decent enough i can say they are good looking at all. (I'm not talking about 2022 standarts BTW: There was a lot of game with better quality while this game still releasing.)
- Choices doesn't matter, doesn't matter what you choice game still gonna do whatever DEV wants and as a player you need endure... Thats just annoying... If i cant change anyting about story whats the point of having choices at first place?!
- There is no plot nor story you can learn, its all about MC and other characters wants have sex with girls and doing plans for them. Like MC and Sam blackmailing Mia for fucking her in ass, or Emma blackmailing MC's mother for (whatever reason she wants...) or MC's mother raping her own son while he is sleeping only for she is horny etc... Oh and same time its about Mia wanting earn money for leaving house and doing every slutty job for that. Yeah pretty much thats all.
- How about story stelling? Maybe at least story telling is good and deliver cringy scenes with good way? I do believe you can gues answer... Its big no, story telling poor aswell. Every detail is poorly written and annoying... Well i gues having empty plot and main story wasn't enough so DEV decided writing characters ''I wanna have sex.'' style stories poorly for creating more annoying/boring game.
- There is zero character development, everyting about just having sex for having sex and thats all you got from this game... I mean seriously this is game main character (and all other main characters/girls/women) only goal and life meaning is having sex and more sex... LMAO
- There is no love/romance path in this game, so if you are looking game with romance development this game is not for you. Its all about sex, sex and sex. While there is 3 girl you can look as a main love interest their scenes always involve someting stupid like: flashing other man, making striptease for crowd, giving other people blowjob or having sex with them etc... So we zero love interest girl in this game.
- Oh god and MC... I dont even want to talk about how idiot he is... I'm just gonna give one example: just for fucking Mia's ass he literaly make plan Sam gonna blackmail her, they gone some place, Sam watched them from little hole and give her orders for him fucking her in the ass... Basicaly he is total idiot/ashole literaly nobody wants to play as a MC or make Roleplay (one of reasons people play adult games instead of watching porno)
- There is some ''Side Stories'' you can reach via main menu of game but they are just waste of time. They are not even have animated sex scenes and all they have is couple of pictures and bunch of text without any well written story... Basicaly they are just waste of time.
- MC's dick ridiculously big and you cant see effectivenes of his dick in sex scenes. Its like his dick disappering in thing air while getting deepthroat from girls etc. Where did dick gone dude? With that much big dick there should be bulge in girls belly while having sex or bulge in their throat but like i told its just like that big dick disappering in thin air.
- Ending was pretty bad... But i can say im shocked to see this much poorly written ending from game with this much poorly written story...

For The End
This game is nothing more than quick fap material, it doesn't even deserve being ''game'' at all. Its like animation which animation DEV's make in patreon, just watch it, dont think about who are those people or their stories and fap. Thats all this ''game'' can give you, nothing more and nothing less. But this should be ''game'' review so im gonna give 1 star, because of obvious bad points and not even deserving called a ''game'' at all.

This is a simple game, no complexity short and to the point. I would have no problem with a simple porn game which has no depth and the characters are just fuck dolls as this game does. But the MC is a complete and utter dipshit so makes playing through this game a chore, as he continues to bumble his way around. The MC's plan for getting into girls pants for every situation is this game is to blackmail, drug or rape them. Already pretty rocky right there. If he wasn't such a douche then you have his even bigger cunt of a friend Sam. Sam is so annoying no one in the game likes him, I don't even think the MC likes him he just uses him to obtain more sexual situations with his sister. Now we get to my biggest turn off with the game, forced sharing or NTR. These two fetishes should be optional unless you go into a game knowing these are the outcomes which was not the case with this game. Also having to share with an annoying cunt who is somehow worse than the MC makes it worse.

The one positive this game has is the animations are fantastic and the girls are attractive. It is a bummer that the rest falls flat or just completely fails. This game had potential now it seems wasted...

Tried playing this and I got through to the end of Act 2. Can't really get into it. This is a porn game through & through. As I'm aware, this is a ren'py remake of the RPGM original, which I think I played in its infancy some time back, but barely remember.

The characters are attractive enough for me, Mia being the best looking out of all of them (though still looks pretty doll-like), the animations are a bit clunky but they get the job done, the same dicktator anatomy prop is being used for the all the male characters, which is really beginning to annoy me because this is like the 15th game I've played where the dev doesn't seem to care to edit the dicktator prop to actually reflect a realistic size.

The MC is insufferable. His best friend Sam is even more insufferable. As in he's in the running for being the worst character of the "MC perverted best friend trope". And to make matters worse, the game takes out the skip function, so if you're not privy to the existence of the UnRen tool, you have to sit through all of the insufferable dialogue, when in reality, this isn't trying to be anything more than a porn game, so why prevent people from skipping in the first place?

The plot revolves around the MC plotting to fuck his sister. If she says no to something, guess what? It doesn't matter because the MC wants to do it, so what happens? He will form a plan to get what he wants. Followed by other various sexual adventures with Mia unrelated to the MC (NTR content, which to my understanding was OPTIONAL in the RPGM version.....but it's not here? I don't know, the RPGM players know more than I do there.)

But my point is, there is absolutely nothing here that justifies the decision to take out the skip function because there is no depth to anything. It's a basic Y3DF comic plot. MC wants to fuck, target refuses to fuck, MC plots to fuck, MC gets to fuck, target gets mad at the MC for plotting to fuck, proceeds to fuck anyway, MC sets up blackmail material to fuck in more ways, various NTR content in between. It's standard. Run of the mill. It's not trying to be anything deeper, as far as Acts 1 and 2 are concerned.

I've also heard that Act 3 tries to give the characters more depth, and from what I've heard from spoilers, it doesn't sound like the best decision either, but I can't judge that particular decision until I've seen it. But it doesn't sound good, as this has been a straight-up porn experience with 1-dimensional characters for the first 2 acts.

So anyway, this is a porn game. Play it like it's a porn game but do yourself a favor and download the UnRen tool so you can reenable the skip function, so you can get to the sex scenes, because the dialogue is not worth sitting through. (I don't consider this a spoiler, but there's a running gag of the MC's best friend Sam trying to talk like a n*gga and the people around him constantly say he's not black so he should stop...like I said, insufferable characters, insufferable dialogue.) Get the UnRen tool and reenable the skip function. You'll save yourself from a headache.

This is a porn game and as a porn game, it's competent enough. You get your fetishes, Mia is sexy enough, the renders are passable, the animations are good enough, you'll have a fine time with the sexual content, so I'll give it 3 stars. I'm rating it for what it is, but it loses points for forcing the player to sit through content that would otherwise be skipped if given the opportunity.

I'll play Act 3 when it's released, but I think this rating is final for me. I don't think any amount of depth in Act 3 will change my thoughts here. In fact, it might only serve to worsen my thoughts, but I'll reserve that judgment until it's released.

An excellent VN! Very happy I found this one, and am eagerly looking forward to the next chapter. Superb artwork, and all the gals are smoking hot. The story and dialogue are excellent as well.
I now have a new game producer to excitedly follow.

This game doesn't mess around, hot sister and hot friends that fairly quickly leads to some very hot scenes.

I guess my main complaint with the game is that it's going a bit too fast. I'd like a bit more teasing and exploring before they go straight to the action.

First of all i just want to say how glad i am that this game got a Ren'Py remake,now it's the way it should always have been.The game itself has a good story,very simple gameplay which i simply like,no grinding or anything,just a scene after scene.It has amazing rendering and i have not experienced any bugs of any sort so far.So far,so great,keep it up!

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs...


(01/15/2018 - Original Review - v0.1)

It's an ok visual novel/game, but I'm unsure about it right now... Plus, it's yet another Family Sex themed game...

The visuals for the characters are decent, but the Mia character model looks a lot like a modified version of the DMD daughter model, which is a bit over used... The backdrops are ok, but nothing special for the few that currently exist...

The script looks good with only a very few spelling/grammar errors... The plot is very simple, with another male protagonist student, living at home with his parents and his sister... In the current content he gets left home with his sister while his parents go out of town for the weekend... Of course, he lusts after his sister (and she has no real love for him, or at least that is what it seems, which is once again an over used theme) who he convinces to take sexy photo's of her... He also lusts after his mother as well... Beyond that his school year is up for the summer, and that is where we pretty much end the current content after a brief conversation with his sister about the night before (the photo session)...

This particular story dynamic is so over used, so it begins to lose it's flair, since thus far there isn't much uniqueness to this story or it's visuals (i.e. the sister's model)... Of course, this VN/game is early in it's development, so we don't know yet what story elements or plot paths it may take beyond this version... But for now it seems rather bland and been there done that...

Overall, I'm currently unsure about this VN/game... Only time will really tell, as more content gets added... But for now I get the feeling this is just going to be another Family Sex porn game without any meaningful plot or deep story... Just lots of lusting and sex, maybe some corruption elements, with maybe a tiny bit of plot... Only time will tell... I may or may not revisit this one later on, but have to wait and see what sort of content gets added...


(03/04/2018 - Review Update - v0.2a)

The prior content looks pretty much unchanged, but it does look as though it's had some additional proofreading done, as I didn't run into any spelling/grammar errors this time around... There wasn't a whole bunch of content added in this update... Mostly just focusing on the protagonist attempting to peep on his sister as she goes to take a shower... Followed by his being asked to leave the house for the first night while his sister has her boyfriend over... Not sure if that means there is NTR in this VN/Game or not... For the time being that is about all the new content there is...

The protagonists sister still looks like a modified version of an overused model used in lots of other VN/Games, but at least she looks like an adult in this one... And as there wasn't a lot of content added in this update, I still think that it's an average Family Sex based VN/game... We'll have to wait and see how the story progresses... I'll check back on this VN/Game sometimes several content versions down the line, and see if it's progressing better, and do another review update at that time...

(03/25/2018 - Review Update - v0.2b)

I know I had planned to wait a while before a revisit, but the update notes showed this release supposedly had a lot more content updates then the last version, so I thought it fair to give it a revisit to see if there were improvements...

This update does make all former save files cause errors when playing, because there have been some fundamental changes as to how this VN/Game operates... You can now select the relationships of the main household members as well as the titles of how they refer to both the protagonist and Mia... This is obviously the developers attempts to move away from a hard coded Family Sex theme to abide by more recent rules of some patron based crowd sourcing sites... But because of those changes, all prior save files will cause errors during play with empty parameters... Unsure how future content will sound or feel with these changes in place if folks opt out of the Family Sex vibe... Hopefully the story text will still make sense, as long as it's handled correctly...

As to new content, there is a short amount of new content added, mostly revolving around the night that Mia has her boyfriend over and basically kicks the protagonist out of the house for that night... With several things occurring that perhaps might lead into possible blackmail material for the protagonist... The current content ends with the introduction of the sister to the protagonists friend... And she seems to be taking on the role of the very open minded and sexual deviant female in the story... And shortly after she meets up with Mia at the protagonists home, the current content ends... Not a huge amount of new content, but more then the last version I played...

The text for the new content was proofread pretty well... I can see this VN/Game improving it's over all quality, but the jury is still out on if this VN/Game will just be a porn fest or go with more meaningful and deep story... Only time will tell... I went ahead and updated my rating for now, but future content will dictate if that ends up changing... I will most likely wait for several more content updates before checking back on this one, to give it some time to mature and grow...
