Ren'Py - Completed - Summer with Mia [S1 v1.5.4 Steam] [Inceton Games]

I'm giving it 4 stars largely because the dev finished the game and I think that needs to be encouraged. So... the good.

Mia is hot in almost too perfect way and the sex scenes are pretty good. I like that all the women want to and do climax and that it seems to be relatively important to the MC. There is a lot of content and you get to it pretty quickly. The renders are above average and the writing is good from a grammatical and readable perspective. Finally, not an ugly girl in the game and lots of good sex.

The bad. Incest. I am not sure why this is so freaking popular, but I hate it. This game gives you the option to reclassify the people but no matter how I reclassified everyone, it never quite translated correctly. And the story... It started out as a typical porn game with the MC manipulating Mia into having sex with him and for a while this worked, but the last section tried to suddenly add feeling to the whole thing which just made it weird. I don't mind trying to make a game/VN that want to tell a story and add feelings, but to start one way and then switch it up to other didn't really work. Plus Mia goes from enjoying banging her brother to being okay with posting videos online for money. Kind of an odd leap there.

Plenty to like. It is well paced, a ton of sex and just about the right length. There is a beginning, middle and end and the dev came up with an in depth ending and didn't just wrap it up in a couple of screens.

So I just did a quick playthrough of the game and before I get into all the details (no spoilers) at the end of the day I think this game is worth your time... most likely.

First thing I want to get out of the way is the "non-traditional" ntr. I've never really liked ntr but its not a deal breaker for me in any game. The ntr in this game is less... "designed" to induce a sense of jealousy? I think that would be the best way to describe it. I believe that with the overall structure and plot of the game, there is a place and reason for the "ntr."

The game does come off to a rough start, the mc is in all honesty, an asshole (and rapist). But... not enough to hate him because most of the other characters are assholes too (and rapists). There are plenty of unbelievable and frankly childishly written events but I don't think take TOO much away from the overarching story. At the end of the day, I was at least semi-invested in MOST of the characters.

Now the renders and animations, they are GREAT, there are one or 2 animations that are a bit grainy, but there are 50 others that surpass 80% of the other games out there. The models may not be as great as say "Being a DIK" but the animations definitely are. They aren't just put on a loop like most games and you can tell the developers put a good amount of time in making them. So, if you just wanna fap? 10/10

Altogether, I would say that before the second half of the 3rd act, I would have given this game a 3/5. However, (and I hope the devs see this) the final 10-20 minutes of gameplay really fleshed out the characters much more and definitely made the characters and relationships feel a lot more "real" even if what was happening was totally unrealistic.

I like to compare good porn games to rick and morty, even though nothing that happens is realistic, you still feel invested in the plot and characters. And because the ending of act 3 did leave me interested to see more, I think that a 4/5 is fair for this game in its current state.

Side note:
I'm pretty sure the devs are racist because every rapist or criminal in the game is a black guy. But who really gives a shit.

it's very bad game, you can not consider a game the whole story is linear and very bad is like "my sister is a slut and i am horny so we started fucking" without lust, without romance, or a single credible reason for how the relationship begin.

I play it because I like Mia's model and I really tried to like it, but she is a slut that goes to bed with everyone who can, a doctor abuses her just to prescribe a pill and she does not notice anything out of the ordinary?

My recommendation would be if you have not played it, do not do it, it's not worth it.

What a fucking gorgeous game...

I loved Mia from the start and the MC was a fucking idiot to let her go. This was partly corruption game, but unlike most other games, Mia was not being a complete idiot. She was caught out and deceived by the MC, but she was clever enough to catch him out on his BS and even managed to turn the tables every now and again.

The ending was so sad for me. It's a classic case of:

The game started out as your classic incest corruption game, but quickly became so much more. I hated the end, but it was actually perfect!!

The character of Mia just became one of my top female gaming characters. Horny, sexy, superficial, manipulative, but not stupid!!
Her character growth was better then most characters from all the games I played on here.

Loved the game and can recommend this game.

Pros:
-Good renders
-Good animations

Cons:
-Even for porn, the story and dialogue are retarded
-MC is an obnoxious unlikable cunt at best and a creepy sociopath rapist at worst
-MC's dick is so unrealistically big the game might as well have the fantasy tag
-It's not actually a game, it's a visual novel with a few inconsequential decisions thrown in
-The girls are attractive but they look almost identical. It's like the same chick in different wigs.
-Ads. I agree that developers should be paid for their work but the constant ad interruption is annoying as fuck. I don't mind a few ads and will put up with them but it got so bad that I had to go look for the codes to remove them. Once I got the ad removal codes I discovered that the ability to input the codes was removed by the developer. Luckily, a member posted an edited script.rpy which I had to copy into the folder to re-enable the ability to input the goddamn ad removal codes. Good times. A message from the developer to support their work on Patreon in between the chapters would've been sufficient. All this work to disable their incessant nagging was bullshit.

Overall:
There are much better harem-cest games out there. This one looks good from the outside but it's rotten inside. Unless you have a hard-on for this chick that won't go away, pass on it.

Started out good then we got unskippable scenes of girls sucking off other characters as well as scenes with the parents. Oh well, at least the first few scenes were great.

Just wish we could get a choice over what we have to see, or at least the option of skipping unread parts instead of having to click 50 times.

Usually I am not that focused on animations, but everybody was saying how great they are. And indeed...there might be hours of hours of hard working and rendering to make them. I was truly impressed.

In my mind the story is very surprising and not like the most games are. It has a some content of ntr and cuckolding and I enjoyed this very much.

Loved the game especially because of the outfit selection (pantyless miniskirt), incest content and smooth high quality animations! To be honest I've never played a game with such great animations!!!

I have to say... One of the better games out there... Inceton really done a nice one... Renders are great, dialoge fits the story nicely... Doesn't jump around, so you are lost... Not too many characters, so you can actually follow each one... I would definitely recommend to anyone...

If life was only lust this game would be amazing. I've played this game numerous times and I just can't get behind it. All the characters seem emotionless and driven with only lust 24/7 which gets old incredibly quickly. Additionally, as mentioned by other reviews, the inhuman cock size is more repulsive than anything. The renders are decently done, but compared to several other games nothing astonishing.

Overall, the lack of any real human emotions (excluding lust), absolutely inhuman body proportions and incredibly boring story can't salvage the slightly above average renders and constant H scenes.

Enjoying this so far. Much more than I thought I would.

Firstly a minor negative is I find games with monster cocks etc really jarring and for me makes it all a bit cartoony and a put off. That's just my personal preference though.

Writing is fine, graphics are fine, models are fine.
What really hooked me was the dynamics and situations between the characters. I'm a big fan of this kind of "NTR" and it's very rare on this site, especially in western games. I hope to see more of it.
Animations are always a welcome bonus.

Looking forward to the future of the series. Hoping for lots more content and for the dev to stay brave with the NTR.

The graphics / renders are Tier 1 and the storyline / dialogs are really above standard.... have to admit though that this bar is not really high.
I like the fact that one doesnt have to grind yourself to death at all. Looking forward to see in which direction it evolves.
As a side note. I can enjoy both a game with or without NTR, as long as it is well made I really dont understand the fuzz...

This is an excellent visual novel. Some might now enjoy because there is not much choice but I am fine with that.

This is the first part of a major rehaul/face-lift of three rpgm games (ACT 1,2,3) and everything that could get a little hefty and annoying with rpgms. Highly welcome for fans like myself who can now scroll trhough their saves more easily and rewatch their favourite scenes. It precedes the highly awaited Act 4, which I hope will take matters even further in this family's incest debauchery.

Good points:

-doll-looking babes (yep I love'em, thank god there are still 3D games like this one that don't risk the "realistic face and skin" adventure, which ends usually in disaster with crocodile skin and wierd, unappealing faces).

-beautiful bodies, pear-shaped butts, peach-shaped boobies.

-slutty make-up, casual summer slutty bimbo wear, high-heels (not quite as much as I'd like, but heck good enough).

-funny, silly porn story with sex-crazed sluts loving big dicks, even their own brother's or son's. No bullshit "character development" beyond what's necessary to get an honest boner. Mia in fact is very attaching, you're never quite sure if she's dumb as fuck or in fact quick-minded. A very loveable slut. Her mom is the best. Her bitch friend always deserves a good punishment fuck. All in all, priority to fapping is always respected in the story.

bad points:

-you know what? There are none. This is an honest, beautifully rendered remake of the rpg game, where characters enjoy the same render quality and features from beginning to end. MAJOR improvement regarding animations (compared with the original rpgm).

One of my favourite, dearest 3D porn VNs out there. Can't wait for part 2 of the rehaul, and above all for Act 4. I'm a bit worried about Mia getting all morally hanged up at the end of the original Act 3, and hope that the care-free porn world will keep on going smoothly in Act 4, and that we will have a family+neighbour harem with all these beautiful sluts, and many orgies!

this could be the adult game with the best humor ever, or very close. i laughed out loud several times at the dialogs. the MC is quite the unforgiving horndog. visually the game is top class, even the backgrounds are pretty good to look at, there are sound effects, nicely done animations at sex scenes, mia and the landlady (yeah, right) are uber hot. many sexy and kinky situations. no flaws whatsoever technically. this must be one of the most successful transformations from rpgm to ren'py and will always be one of my all time favorites.

Definitely 5. One of the best games for me here. First I didn't want to play it. The main model looked kinda "dolly" and not that interesting to me and since most of the content is centered around her I was rather sceptical. But when I started to play, because of good writing I got found of her rather fast. Renders are not the very best (compared to current VERY high standards) but rather good and pretty, animations are super and there are LOTS of them.

People complaining about anavoidable NTR: well, there's a tag "Netorare", so you should know what to expect. It's like someone downloads a game with "futa" tag and then writes it comments: "WTF?!.. Chick with dick?!! WTF?! I almost puked!!!" Though I can understand them in some part: personally I would prefer to have the opportunity to chose. Since I really liked Mia (ttytt didn't expect that) I would like to have an option to leave her just for myself.

The major minus of the game is that most of the choices really don't matter at all. Maybe that would change later. But anyway really worth downloading.

This is a perfect remake of Living with Mia with Renpy, it's simple, straight up VN, no dicking around.

CGs are a bit dated but animations are great, a solid 9/10 here.

Immersion is there. Story is very straight forward, but not too cliche, it stays focused on the characters, their intent, their sexuality, without going off into boring tangents.

Fluidity : This is something that can break rpgm to renpy conversion but this here is done right. A lot of the previous dicking around is explained concisely, transitions between moments are done well.

Overall I give this a solid 5/5.
