Ren'Py - Completed - Summer with Mia [S1 v1.5.4 Steam] [Inceton Games]

The characters are the main reason for playing this. At the start you decide what to call the people in the household, but in any case you are very familiar with them. The characterizations are so well done you could trick yourself into thinking they're living, breathing beings. They stick to their own nature but they also develop during the course of all that happens. They're affected by events, and depending on how deeply they even have to think it over for a while, afterwards having changed ever so slightly from the experience.

The story start as a drama lite, shocking but playful. Later it ramps up to more serious drama, and by then there's a high chance you're immersed in the characters as well. Highs and lows are expertly written in to give you a break and then build tension again. Personally I was glued to the screen. I cared about what might happen to characters. Without spoiling much, I'll say the ending had me a little glum. It leaves things open-ended, paving the way for a sequel. It's a writer's motto, "leave them wanting more." What I wanted was to do right by the characters and help them achieve happiness in some way, and I hadn't yet. Take that as neither a compliment or criticism, but rather a reflection of emotional investment. Still, that ending might disappoint some people.

The sex was a hot combo of animations, taboo, dirty talk, and character building that aims to make it feel more personal. Not all of it was doing it for me, but many times I was transfixed.

Definitely a recommendation! You'll like this if you can empathize with the characters.

I was originally going to play the original RPG maker version until I saw it was remade in renpy. So I won't be able to compare the two.

The character models were really good. The women were hot. I liked most of the characters except for Emma and Sam. Emma is the kind of manipulative person I hate and Sam is just an idiot.

This isn't a love or romance story. The sex is mainly bred from lust and carnal desires. The women mainly only fuck the MC because he has the biggest dick they've ever seen. Mia begins to develop feeling for the MC, but she's too scared to admit it and the MC is too stupid to pick up on her subtle inferences.

I liked the relationship with the mother. Hers felt more of a romantic nature.

The writing isn't bad, but there are numerous spelling errors throughout.

Nearing the end of the second act there is a part where the MC starts to incessantly badger Mia to do anal for which she refuses so the MC conspires with Sam to trick her into it. As a person who is hardly an anal fan this part was tiresome and annoying. I don't mind anal in these games as long as it's your choice, but here the MC acted like he had such a burning need for it I kind of tuned out.

I didn't really care for the ending, but there is a notice at the end about how there will be a sequel. So I'm hoping the ending to this game is just a plot point in the story and not the final resolution for these characters.

Not a perfect game but deserves a way better rating than its getting.. Starts out dark. MC is completely and totally unlikable. MC is worst thing about this game overall. Gets better.

Animation is among the very very best on here. Worth a try.

Now with that out of the way:

First half of the game was pretty good, MC is a pervert and girls around him are easy, but he still have to work for a good fuck, i would rate it 8/10.

Then the dev decided that making a porn game is not good enough and tried to turn it into a proper VN.
What needs to happen for plain porn story to turn into something more without rewriting everything? Drama, a fuckton of drama. But no amount of drama could turn a story where all girls are dick-hungry sluts into something serious.
In the end we have neither a good VN nor a good porn game. When porn starts to escalate, drama kicks in and stops it, meanwhile story can't be based on drama alone.

I recently spent some time playing through this game. Like so many others, this game had great potential but somewhat missed the mark.

Pluses: Graphics are solid, sex scenes are very good, plot was interesting.

Minuses: Not really a game as much as a visual novel. Not a lot of choices for you to make which impact the story. All the female characters suffer from BTS (big-tits syndrome). Father character was lame.

Overall, it was interesting and enjoyable as a visual novel. I would have liked to have seen more branches that would have impacted the storyline. There was a lot of potential with the different female characters which was seemingly wasted by the lack of actual choices. That said, if you look at it as more of a visual novel, it's fine as the graphics and sex scenes were very good.

The art style is great. The animation are really good. The sex scenes are hot.

Now for the game.
The game has a pretty good story and the writing was good with the way it all plays out between the MC and Mia, the ending was decent though i think the MC should be pissed and make it hard for Mia to get back into his life in the second game.
Emma was the worst character besides the rapists, she was still not a bad part of the game per say, just hope she redeems herself in the second game.

I have to categories of games that I rate 5 stars: Amazing Porn Games, and Amazing Games with Great Porn.

This is an amazing porn game. The story has only one point, to make things hot. There's no intricate family dynamics, no deep, multilateral and well developed characters. But they aren't cartboard with tits either. They are basically sex dolls, yes, but sexy sex dolls.

They're not smart, they don't have a plethora of wants, needs, or desires. They are people though, and distinguishable. I know who is who and what they'd do in a presented situation. So you can't say there isn't any character development. There's just enough to make the sex that much more enjoyable.

Thy are sex dolls though. They have only one need in life: Your penis. And it's not lust or desire, it's an existential need.

The sex is great, the models are great (except the butt, something is wrong with everyone's butt - also they stand as if in high heels ... with no shoes on, what's up with that?).

If you like incest and want to rub one out - like right now, not in 2 and a half hours form now - this is one of the best porn games out there.

Though I was very close to removing one star because they removed the bestiality "incident". But the game is great enough that I won't be petty. Still, don't do that next time, kkthxbye.

Great renders and animations. Story is good for a porn game, not retarded but not too serious at the same time.
Official RenPy port made it much better. It's not even a port, more like a remaster with much more renders and better animations.
Variability is almost non-existent, which can a pro or a con, depending on your preferences.

Long story short, this game has funny script, and an awesome story. This is not too complex and linear a little bit, but the story makes that to forget about.
The character development is good in case of most of the key people in the game. I didn't find any huge logical mistakes.
The graphics are fine, but of course this depends on the taste of the player.
I loved the ending of the full story line. This wasn't a huge surprise, and built from brick to brick, but I liked it how it was presented.

The game should be titled "I live in an unrealistic cluster-fuck."

Animation is amazing. Characters are very attractive.
But more a VN than a game with choices that make little difference, every girl being a completely sex-starved whore, and a main character who couldn't be stupider if he was lobotomized and then beheaded.

Normally, I like a plot, character development, and even some romance. This is probably the only game I've played strictly for the porn.
And while the art is nice, and I am playing it, trust me.... that isn't a compliment.

This is a solid 4 star game, definitely worth checking out. It's complete so there's no nonsense, no waiting forever, no drama, just a good amount of content worth spending a few hours on.

Pros:
-It's pretty long and jam packed full of sex scenes. Seriously, so many scenes.
-Nearly every scene is animated and the animations are pretty good. Not insane but above average, better than what you see in most games.
-Does the whole "main chick slowly turning into a total whore" fantasy decently well.

Cons:
-The story is pretty shallow, but that's not what this game is about. It's a total fuckfest and a very decent one.
-The renders are only medium quality, nothing jaw-dropping, but imo the game makes up for that with tons of very decent animations.

Clarifications:
-Despite being named "Summer with Mia" she is not the only focus. There's quite a bit of action with 2 other hot women.
-You can safely ignore anybody crying about ntr. You can turn off ntr at the start of the game. But you'd be missing several quality scenes, a couple with mc and his best friend sharing their sisters and a couple where Mia blows the father figure. Really shouldn't be that triggering on the ntr sensitivity scale.

So now after a long back and forth I finally played the Game, I have to say I do not regret not having played it earlier it is a Great Game!

In my Mind the Story is very Surprising and not like the most Games are. It has a some Content of ntr and Cuckolding and I Enjoyed this very much.

So, I've given this game 5/5 - but it's by no means a perfect game - why? Because it excels in some aspects more than others - and that's enough form me to give it 5/5 ... because perfect/nearly perfect games don't really exist.

If you're looking for the real reason you could (or should?) play this game, skip over to the third paragraph. Otherwise, read along.

First of all, you should know that it's mostly linear. So, is it still a game if your choices don't matter - who cares! What matters if you can enjoy it or not - and to my surprise I actually enjoyed it. And on the upside you get a huge amount of content in the main branch.

Story, character buildup - they don't really exist. But to my surprise, it got kinda heavy in the ending. It's like the writer started to write it as mindless fuckfest first - and maybe later tried to add a new meaning to it. But then when I say "mindless fuckfest" is that really a bad thing? Isn't that why most of us are really (or rather often secretly or even unknowingly) here? You'll get a huge number of sex scenes to keep your loin satiated.

The renders are excellent. The character models - they're good, not extraordinary. But the real area where this game excels is animations - oh my god - there are a lot of them. Most of the sex scenes are well animated and overall "well designed". That involves unrealistic shoving of horse dicks into tiny holes - so if, unlike me, you're turned off by the lack of reality - that is something to watch out for. But, other than that, I'd say I found that the erotic scenes are extremely sexy ( and fappable ).

There are some issues with NTR and things like multiple penetrations - but I read that you can turn them off. To me "sharing" and NTR are two very different things - but who am I to go against public opinion .

Overall, this game has good production value. Whether you would like the content or not, may depend on your taste - but it succeeds in achieving what it set out to do - and for that, in my opinion, it should get a perfect score.

The game provides excellent fap material, if that's what you're looking for. For me, however, the story went off the rails completely in episode 3. In the first two episodes, it didn't take itself seriously, and it was lots of fun. In the final episode, it's like the author suddenly realized, "Wait, real people would never act like this!", and, in my opinion, overcompensated by adding needless drama.
All in all, a solid, fun game with a terrible ending. I'd give it a 3.5 if I could, because the renders are outstanding, but they're held back by writing and scripting errors (some dialog is attributed to the person being spoken to, etc). I've rounded up to a 4, but it probably doesn't deserve it.

MC is absolutely asshole. Blind, one who cannot use his mind. He finally knew that he loved Mia, albeit late. The script is nice. But I would like the story to end with a happy ending. At least it should have been among the options. The reason it impressed me so much is that it is very similar to my 2-year relationship in the past. I found a piece of myself in the story. Mine didn't end with a happy ending either. Very sad.

**ABOVE AVERAGE WITH SOLID FAP APPEAL**

I actually ended up being pleasantly surprised with this one after sitting in my "constantly looked past for something else: que of bookmarked games. In itself the game doesn't knock any one area out of the park, but as a whole it does add up fairly well:

- Attractive female models. Which is always subjective of course, but it catered to my "type" in these games.

- Clear and always understandable writing, even if the story was rather your standard throw in variety.

- "Good enough" animations to the point they add that extra layer of fapability. Most of the time at least. There is a few meh ones spaced out here and there, but nothing on a scene that act with said character isn't basically duplicated with a better one in another situation.

- Solid overall buildup and sexytime pacing.

My only real complaint is that after an early build up and then start with the NTR aspects...it basically only half delivers on that and ends up leaving you hanging on some sexy time payoff progression you play the game fully expecting to be there latter. Which skimming through the thread seems to be the result of the dev caving to a bunch of the standard crying that went on about it (even though the girls in question were already set up to be complete sluts without it).

So yeah, those couple parts where you finally think you are going to see those couple big NTR payoff scenarios unfold, just to run smack into those cheesy few lines of text blatantly thrown in to pet the fragile NTR crybabies....totally boner killer letdown lol. Not trying to be overly combative against people's extreme sensitivity to anything NTR, but at that point and given all that had already happened....I mean c'mon. In one of those scenes you gotta let the guy get some there to really cap it off.

So yeah, other then that this isn't a legit 5 star "top 5 game on the site" standout venture, but if you are looking for a game to download and get a few good faps out of...it scores better then most out there.

Summer with mia was one of the best porn game I played so far. Though the ending was sad, the game have all content one can expect. At the end the dev said the story have not ended yet so I am looking forward for the future updates. I hope at least in the future updates the game have good ending. Mia have such a great body, no one can regret by playing this game. Well this is my honest review,hope it may help someone. Looking forward for these type of quality games.
