I actually dig the darker hair, too. Its the rest of the get-up I feel just doesn't fit. That hair and eyeliner is great, though.

I'd say it's a pretty solid theory, assuming the "photo" was taken in the kitchen of their new home and not at Nia's apartment or something. But the goth Nia had no tattoos, so it has to be someone else anyway.
Does the kitchen background match with the one in Nick's mansion, BTW?

I labeled the two S2 era pics for the similarities, but got lazy to do the season 1. I'm sure you'll see it. In Nami's goth shot, she's where blurry Zara is in the Season 1 shot when NIka, Noji and Nami move in after the mice in Ch5.
1 - the microwave/oven, with the fridge to the left and the wine rack the the left of that
2 - the chairs. When looking at the season 1 pics, notice that the table they're eating at is not part of the island for food prep, which has the small table at the end, in front of the fridge and wine rack. You can see in season 1 the sushi is on that part of the island, and the chairs are there.
3 - the tap, part of the island, with the sink.
4 - the overhead copper lights
5 - the square tiles, hard to tell at night, but plenty of examples from season 1 with the blur
6 - Noji's tatt we can just see in season 2, one of the top of the crossed blades (?) the full tatt appears to be a shield with crossed blades and a crown. Anyone got some meanings? Also, Noji doesn't have that tatt in the bookclub treats, so Ocean's decided she's getting new ones I guess (based on the preview render from S2Ch1), or he didn't want to reveal them in S1 - we don't see Noji's legs anywhere in S1 do we?

Yo! To anyone thinking about backing OceanLab, ...jump in!1. If you actually were a Patreon supporter for any length of time, you would know that Ocean stopped giving an actual release date for releases because any miss of that date, no matter how small, became a source of complaining by a segment of the SG community - some of whom were $ supporters and Many who were not...
Ocean gives his supporters rough estimates now and continues to give us biweekly updates on both of his AVNs.
I'd prefer he focus on telling these stories well versus worrying about a specific date as a deadline.
Is it a long wait - OC - but I think it will be worth it.
2. You would also know that Ocean is making two AVNs at the same time for several reasons, including his mental health. Now - you can disagree with the dev's right to create as he desires while coming to complain about him on a pirate forum - but I'm not going to tell another adult how to best manage His mental health.
3. All I get from your post is complaining and 'here's what I read'... It feels and reads like a PSA telling People to avoid Ocean... using a pirate site as your medium of communication...
You talk about unknown 3rd party opinions as though they are gospel and to be believed but offer nothing beyond that, like screenshots actually supporting your narrative (something more than 'I disagree with the dev').

You seem to have a fixation with Ocean, and I recommend broadening your F95 experience with this User Id, unless this is an alt ID of course...
Go find other AVNs on F95, download, enjoy and comment on those threads... otherwise, this trend will shift from 'might be axe grinding' to definitely here just for the axe grinding.

Updates might not drop monthly, bimonthly, or even yearly, but trust me, when they hit, it’s pure fire. The wait’s a grind, no doubt, but OceanLab always delivers the goods. 99% worth it, every single time!

Everyone who played this game... I mean everyone who waited for each update knows it's the best and Ocean delivers what he said he would. No need for pure truth or whatever word salads you lot like to use. The bottom line is definitely one of the best in VNs, including the dev. So support him if you're looking to speed things up.
No need to sue. Just saying, you will be doing this for all eternity. Have at it by all means mate.

Nearly done with the first season. The MC is far stronger than me because I would have busted a fat nut already with those Bella/Nami interactions. Depression be damned.

Neither Zara or Noji have anything is S1, but we do see Noji has something in S2. Hopefully it doesn't just appear, or if it does, I hope Ocean does stealth updates to S1 for consistency if I'm right about that dinner render.
It's also nice how this is a topic for discussion over and over and over (...and over ...and over) on a pirate site.
I like the cut of your jib (I am one of those who will buy on steam because it's easily worth more that a single shot of average scotch)
