It does not make no sense for a Dev to finsh their AVN sooner rather than later if their income and paying their bills and lifestyle depends on keeping their fans paying monthly money Devs know if they finsh their AVNs fast that their income can take a blow and they would have to go out and get a job in the workforce. They have a very cushy job working from home i bet it's nice take breaks when you want, go grab a drink and get something to eat when you want, it's a dream job.
