I believe Ocean will be more Cautious than give fans what they want, remember for years everyone has said Ocean will make the game how he sees fit not how we want it to be. So if he feels that giving sex scenes will hurt his sales on Steam or get him banned from a certain platforms then he will make the game 14+ or 16+ and not 18+ it does not matter if we hate the idea or not. Ocean has never been about what fans want it's His vision not ours and I believe that even if the changes to sex and lewds is gone completely there will be those fans that will support him and just go for a dating sim with the occasional kiss here hug there. I have been saying for Years this AVN will probaly never have sex scenes and it seems my thoughts are about to maybe come true we will soon see.

It seems like Ocean going to complete all renders in October and he already moving into coding which I he can get done in the month as well. There still animation left and testing but I think November realease is possible.

Sweet summer child, he would definitely be doing animations and cinematics for a month or 2 only. I'd say February.

Well from what I know and I have several AVNs on Steam and some if not all have sex scenes so there is that, and I know and have seen that Patreon is ok with porn games just not certain Themes anymore. What I was saying or the point of what I was saying is Where Ocean lives they are not totally ok with porn games and I think Ocean cares about that alot so if he still wishes to sale Summer's Gone in Germany he can't make it 18+. He can allow patches to be in Summer's Gone but the sex scenes can not from what I know be added if they are not already apart of the game. I feel he will be more Cauious than give us what we want that's just how I have seen him and WiaB ban on Patreon really hurt him and he is afraid of that happing again. And he cares way too much about the whole ratings system thing he sould care about what his Patreons want and make them happy but he has never cared remember HIS vision and what He wants not Us.

As far as I know, Wiab was banned for suggesting incest. All other sexual scenes are allowed there.

At least creative block is a real problem for writers and screenwriters, unlike burnout. It's good that Ocean doesn't have creative block because he wrote the plots for SG and Wiab in advance.

But you're mistaken about one thing: switching to another project might distract you, but it doesn't solve the problem. To get rid of creative block, people take time off and have fun or pursue their hobbies. As I wrote earlier, Ocean doesn't have problems with creative block, but he also likes to rest. During the entire time he was working on Chapter 1 of Season 2, he took a break of at least 8 months. If he hadn't taken breaks, the game would have been released long ago.

P.S. There are many people who worked on their only project and achieved success and worldwide recognition. But there are no people who did several projects at once and achieved anything serious.

a) just because the plot is already written, that doesn't mean there are no creative choices left to make.

b) working on another project might not work for you, but it does for some people.

c) Tell Brandon Sanderson that he's never achieved anything serious someday. I'm sure the guy behind the second most funded Kickstarter to date (most funded for over three years, before being beaten earlier this year) who has repeatedly topped the New York Times bestseller list will take you very seriously as he switches back from working on his ongoing Stormlight series to working on his ongoing Mistborn series (to say nothing of the various side and secret projects he's produced over the last few years) telling fans of both that it's to avoid getting burnt out on either one.

Hello,

Quick and to the point so I can go back to work.

Usually, I only handle tax stuff and other shitty things like that on Sunday, but I wanna be done with the update so I work today.

I rendered about 320 renders in the past 10 days, some of them are the same render with just the texture being different.

With everything that’s happening to the adult industry: from Steam apparently not allowing early access adult games anymore to the state of Michigan proposing a bill that would ban porn, or anything deemed immoral entirely, I’m gently preparing for a potential worst case.

Sure, those preparations add a bit of render time, but it’s manageable.

I hope, I’ll never need them.

About 260 were new renders and that puts us at around 7890 stills.
Almost 8000, yo.

I’ve also coded the main menu and part of the gallery.

There are still some screens left, but I should be fully done with the main menu and the structure of all additional submenus in the next two weeks.

I also think it will be a little more than 8000 stills… More like 8200 stills.

Steam & USK.
In the last log, I mentioned that Steam will review SG S1 again to determine if it’s suitable to be classified as a non-adult game. It’s currently rated as a weird in-between mix.

It took them about 15 days to get back to me and I think they have reviewed the game and were fine with it (?)
Someone from the escalated legal team contacted me for all the USK documents again, and they are currently reviewing them.
I should get an answer next week and hopefully, even Merkel can then get a copy on Steam.

If you want to help Ocean, yourselves, and the adult game industry in general then I'd suggest writing an angry e-mail to Visa, MC and/or Paypal. Just tell them that you are sick of them deciding what kind of content is OK for you to spend your money on. If it's legal, then you should be able to buy it. If they get enough of these e-mails, they will change their policy. If one thousand angry, bored Aussie hausfrau's can dictate policy to them, then what about orders of magnitude more upset adult gamers?

I hope Ocean isn't paralyzed by this possibility.

All of these comments talking about what you were hoping for and for you got instead just show that this game is creating a buzz. From the seller's point of view if the product is hyping people for the positive reasons - very good, if it's hyping them for the negative reasons - still not too bad, but if they don't care - that's a failure. So, all of you complaining about the lack of lewd scenes in SG just helps to reach more fans. And the more fans there are, the less Ocean will care about opinions of the individuals
