Ocean estimated december release on patreon, but considering now it will have to be a proper steam release, extra month to check, extra two weeks for curators, february release would be really quick.

Honestly, at one update in two+ years I am surprised there even are any subscribers left. Just switch entirely to release full priced games sales model.

There won't be such a long check. If I'm not mistaken, such checks only happen for games with a low age rating. SG Season 1 has restrictions and a low age rating, but SG Season 2 won't have restrictions because it will be rated for adults, and games with that rating are reviewed very quickly.

I can't figure out how she can be Katie niece with out being William and Miru. I can but it will have to be some serious out of the box thinking. Given the timer of the changes and that Ayua now seems like is a at least lewdable character and not a "special case" anymore, I don't think is crazy to assume that Nika had his parents changed

Well, that'll have to be explained or change. Most likely with Katie being her aunt just like William used the name Zane as a hyphenated name. But if Ayua is William and Mirus daughter (who else can be the scary mom who gets drunk easily?) there's no way AYua is actually related to Katie in any way, unless William has a lost brother Katie marries. SG will have to have some script changes to match up with WiaB somewhere.

Maybe. I guess that Ocean can say that Katie is aunt only by consideration, don't know about germany but in my contry is somewhat common. The thing is that Ayua is hard coded a Zane in SG, and William is not, well sometimes he is, and how can she be a Zane ? If she was Dylan's or Hellen she would be a sister to Katie, she was Katie she would be a daugther, if she was of Dylan brother or his sons she would be Katie cousin. So how the fuck is Ayua a Zane at all ?

If he goes back to patreon he would definitely need to change his games, again, if it turns out that the content is actually the problem which most likely it is.

Which means another wasted years of going nowhere with the games, trying to change stuff in order to appeal to patreon.

Also it's hard to say he will make the same amount of money he used to make if he goes back, like i said if he needs to change stuff from the games again then i don't see how many people would still support him again.

The games are already dragged on for too long as they are, going back to patreon means even more drag on, it's his decision what he wants to do but like i said, personally i wouldn't do that.

He can get the financial support he needs on SS too, it would take longer but it is possible, however that depends entirely on him how willing he is to get back the money he lost.

Sadly, the changes have twisted everything so badly that the effects cascade throughout both games.

It's not feasible to retconn Ayua so she is not a Zane. That leaves only two real alternatives:

1. Miru dies or abandons Ayua after birth, leading to that dirty word, adoption, or

2. New DISCLAIMER at start of SG: "This is a work of fiction. Any similarity to WIAB persons, living or dead, or WIAB events, is purely coincidental."

As much as I would to joke, "Dylan! You dirty dog, you!" That doesn't work unless Ayua is Katie's sister.
