I may be overthinking things but I think that Eva shows how crude Nika can be. Sure, he is just poking at her because is funny, he is not trying to be mean to her, but he is joking with a sensitive topic for her. He is not a psychopath anymore but he still is kinda of a asshole. He does not think how the joke will be taken by Eva, he does it because for him is funny get under her skin. Bella needs to call him out on it, because he is being a jerk. I do like the banter and maybe I am a jerk too because I do find it funny but I don't blame Eva munch for it. She is a lot taller for what I remember but might be high heels, I think she will come to accept him once she sees a good influence on Bella.

TBF, Eva was initially hostile without being provoked the first time they met, reflecting Bella's attitude at the time. And Nika's initial poke at her was simply a response to that unprovoked hostility. It just got out of hand, since neither would back down.
I just checked it out again to be sure about the way I remembered it. Eva tried to show "the idiot" his place while talking to her "Queen Bee" Bella. Nika just told her to fuck off. And there it started.

i'd wholeheartdly agreed with you RNa ! .This is why I couldn't care less if the next update comes out today or by next Summer. My hype died when the first previews started coming out and heavily featuring Zara
But it's ok. I still have some hope that Ocean will do the sensible thing of cutting the content for a character if you're clearly not on her path. I really hated how shoved down my throat that obnoxious bitch was in Season 1
i'd hate it how Ocean shoved on our faces Vic and Mila , the 2 worst characters in this avn and you can not avoid them , it's a shame that there was not a prompt to press saying "fuck no" to the pajama party or "the fuck i won't" to living with Mila on a fourplex

But yeah I've bitched about that enough. I'm not excited at all for the MC to move out of Nojiko's even if I'm happy for her to be moving in with Nick. I'd much rather stay in the rat infested house with Nami alone
And you know Mila is gonna be the most obnoxious roommate. I like her but she can be a little too preachy, prude and judgemental. Even so it beats living with Nia, Zara and even Bella. Too much Bella can be hazardous to your health too

You are right, Eva was hostile from the get go with out a reason but I don't think that this justifies all the future provocations from Nika's part. I do not remember the scene exactly but I think that Eva attacks him and he call her beanpole, to with she loses it.
I hear Dwight is down for that (and he has influence over the basketball team selection), so Nika's HJ could happen sooner than you think.
