Thanks for clearing that up I whole hardly agree, the patches we have now can and probaly will be obsolete in the near future. It would be wise to get used to not using them unless of course the Dev wanted taboo in their AVN but couldn't because of Patrons TOS but those are isolated incidents and does not cover all Devs and many amazing Devs have been banned off Patreon because of said patches that they had no control over being made.

If you look in the AAA world, and go to Nexus mods, that'll explain all you need to know about fan modding... I look for something to make a game run better, before I know it, I've installed too many things and the game breaks. How many times do we see people saying they installed X mod after Y walkthrough and now there's missing images? Or they installed the ch4 patch for the ch5 beta download, and ch5 won't run?

Given how many iterations OCean's been though, I'll just keep up with his story, not th fan stories. Whether I think he's sanitised things or not isn't the point for me - if the stories good, I want the next chapter, however it comes. And it can have surprises. But the mods make it harder to follow what direction Ocean's actually going. People still miss the dolphin jokes from ch2 and the gun, so I just take it at face value now and sleep peacefully.

Mods can be great for a game look at Skyrim and BG3 they support gamers modding their games it doesn't take away from the main stories but add side quest and such to the character. But those are not AVN's so they are different and the Companies making those games approve such mods to enhance the players experience which is what they want.

Nika is in no way William's son. What's the point of hiding it for 18-20 years, and as we realized later, William is not the uncle who played basketball with him, Nika would have known that his last name was Zane and he would have understood something if he had heard about Ayua Zane.

Ayua is Will's daughter, and she will never have a relationship with Nika, unless Nika is Miru's son and stole all the traits of Leia's father or son. In any case, whether Nika is a bastard or the result of abuse (thinking about Leia) is quite obvious because he was left out of the Zanes. Nojiko's reaction when she saw Kate behind Nika is quite clear, my friend.

About Nami, if she is Daphne's daughter, we already know that she died, and if she is Will's daughter or someone else's, we can say that she was a victim of the gang war and that's why she stayed with Nojiko, who most likely knew them. Nika and Nami's memories of their mother are identical, so we can't rule out that she may have been adopted by Nika's mother when she was a baby, and that both were left with someone she trusted so that they wouldn't be used in the war as bargaining chips, or that Miru simply didn't want the bastards.

You have to keep in mind, that all this values are only tested in certain environment. As a out of my ass example, don't nail me on it because I'm to long out of this area of my profession, 230V/10A over six hours and the temperature of the environment is 30°C.

If the temperature is rising, this is totally possible with the actual temperature here in god ol germany in some regions and additional the heat produced from the PC itself, then the current carrying capacity decreases.

If we now take into account the length of cable that is usually required for such cobbler work in rooms of private homes that are suddenly converted into an office with a massively increased fire load, you are not far off the mark with your joke about the fire extinguisher.

To be completely honest, as a professional, the mere thought of such constructions and the disaster that can result sends shivers down my spine. And then there are the cheap triple socket strips, preferably several of them in a row from the crappy DIY store around the corner with the special offer goods from China...

Since you explicitly mentioned a CO² extinguisher, I can assume that you are also an expert and know which extinguisher to use for such applications!

You do know it's incredibly easy to edit the script to say whatever you want right? The patch doesn't reveal hidden text, it rewrites the script o whatever the modder wants to say. These things aren't hidden in the original, they're fan made changes, that's why they're called patches.

Funny how the original fan made patch stopped after WiaB's patreon was nuked, but anyone can do this if they want to spend the time learning to open archives edit a text file and re-archive the script. It's not rocket science.

Also a funny thing about the last evil patches was, that almost every single one was uploaded multiple hours before the game(s)(!) got officially released.

Yeah, but then you add two different skins to modernise the graphics, but the meshes aren't compatible being made by different modders, and it gets fuzzy. So you end up having to be the ninja modder we almost knows as much as the dev about the game to know what order to install them, that issue's all over the fan mods

Reminds me of exactly the troubles people have with the script and walkthrough mods - 'is it compatible with amiga? can I use it on my atari 2600? what about xyz's walkthrough mod? do I install it first then the patch or patch then walkthrough then 4k texture? oh great now everything looks like the simpsons because the walkthrough mod guy went of the rails. Now ch 5 won't load. Damnit" I'm sure you've read these kinds of comments all through this forum, with people posting the crash logs. And these are simple renpy games...

IIRC Ayua is not a LI, so it makes not fucking sense to be so restrictive about this topic. As long Nica can't screw Ayua then should be not a problem with them being related...

I think Ocean hasn't closed the door on that. Some of the Ayua renders suggest she's wanting to fire up mr dead pocket rocket herself. Not a LI simply means no ending sailing off into the sunset with the character. There can be plenty of lewd action, one night stands from what OCean's implying. Or maybe it's just bait because he's building her fan base for game three

You could argue that it wasn’t known that the MC would join the book club that day, and you’d be right. Still, I think they would have made sure their children didn’t live in a "dumpster." From this, I conclude that none of the Zanes are the MC’s parents.

Noji could be reporting back, they can be away travelling (Noji is often on clan business missions), and I don't think Willi would be caught dead at a book club.

The more information we have, the more Nojiko becomes an enigma. On one hand, she should be this kind of poor saint who wants to write children's books, on the other hand, she knows all the ultra-rich people in the city and "scandalous" people.

I'm just sketching out a theory, maybe Nick Benz introduced them all, because it's not known how long they secretly met, and Nick's wounds are healed, which means at least a year has passed since the accident.
