And on the contrary to your speculation, some of us have every hour counted and filled with our jobs and everyday chores, with little time to spend playing these little games and especially, worrying about their development progress.

Hot take, rule about abandoned status due to long waiting is peak braindead administration. Just rules for rules, no life improvement whatsoever. Dev should be contacted about such a stuff and only when game is truly abandoned by developer, put such a status in here. Otherwise it's pointless.

Its F95 rules, they don't care if a creator made any updates on Patreon or Discord or whatever, if OP post hasn't been updated in a while in this thread then it can get the abandoned tag after a while. This doesn't necessarily mean the game is actually abandoned. This happens quite often with games that have a release once a year or more.

Well lets be honest, its fking amazing this game hasn't gotten this tag ages ago and gone into some archive already, this dev can be as active as they like one whatever platform they like, but unless there is actually an update to play, its all lip-service and bullshit and clearly one can and should question the motivations and integrity of these developers. I have long ago given up on this AVN, was brilliant but its not worth the wait or support, this developer has simple taken the piss IMO out of the public for way to long.

Ocean surely did lots of stuff wrong and could have made better decisions but there are sooooo many devs of promising avns lately who just ghost their community yet still taking the patreon money but ocean gets more shit from a particular type of players (dumb) here than any other dev.

The game deserved the abandoned tag here but nothing else happened.

Does anyone know if Ocean has ever mentioned if they have the whole story or part of it already written? Or is it more like Ocean writes the story and dialogues as it goes?

Just curious, as much as I like this VN, the odds aren't favorable in terms of ever seeing the end of it, so I was wondering if Ocean ever mentioned something like that, if they already got the whole story down and they're just creating the visual aspect of it, then I wonder if there'll be any possibilities in the distant future to buy the whole story as a novel itself. I'm an avid reader, so I wouldn't mind if the format itself is not a full professional novel, but more like a bunch of notes and observations as of how the story will go and end.

Regardless of what ends up becoming of this novel, I do want to see or know the end of it, the delivered format not being as important.

There are other games where the DEv basically is radio silent and the game dont get updates and no abandoned tag... double standards all the way, on patreon and f95 too i guess.

I would agree but.....you have Devs who do that and haven't put out an actually game
update in 2 years or more. Has Ocean abandoned this game? Of course not! but it is
the rules and it stops others who do this. I find it funny since so many here thought
this could never happen....it just shows how long it's been since a real game update.
