If you are ready to get a piece of history with good music and zero adult scenes, and even if you like it, forget about the game in a year, because something interfered with the author once again.
When focusing on promises about the imminent release of the second season, it is worth keeping in mind the fact that we here as a whole village have been waiting for it for several years and are feeding on 4k wallpaper. Oh yes, even if it comes out, with equal probability it could be a children's book 16+, or another unfinished piece for a couple of hours.
And you decide for yourself. The music is good, that's a fact.

Yeah!.....like when it would be ready by December.{and that was a more recent estimate.} Please don't tell people that. I've never seen Ocean on time with any kinda of release estimate on any release over the years!

Absolutely worth playing to me this is the God Tier of AVN games. Also it is not abandoned, and if you care to look at some previous posts will explain as to why it is nit abandoned.

it is getting another update, season 2 is in development as of now. The downside is that Ocean is currently working on 2 games at the same time so updates for this game will be slow. It seems that what Ocean is doing is releasing a episode for Summer's gone then he will release a episode for Where it all began. He is not concentrating on anyone game at the time, which could prove to be very detrimental to both games.

Yep as good as Ocean is with his games he is about as reliable as a Sat Nav system made by Volvo.Yeah!.....like when it would be ready by December.{and that was a more recent estimate.} Please don't tell people that. He began development of the second season at the end of 2023. It's almost 2026 now. As some ppl already wrote to you, he didn’t mention a single date in a single devlog. There is still no problem in releasing through early access on Steam, if you have at least a rename option in the game. This is the third year they've been feeding you wallpaper, and you keep proving that it's not for the money. Either steam interferes, then taxes, then the German government, then the hardware breaks, then station is not there and it’s about to come. Of the worthy excuses - two games. One thing is not clear: why not finish one first? Want all the money at once, I suppose.

Steam does not allow adult games to be released in early access anymore with or without a rename option adult games have to either be full releases or updates done as DLC. I will fully agree with you though he should just concentrate on one focusing on two games is going to kill quality I believe.
Whether working on two creative projects at once makes things slower or faster depends on how likely block or burnout is when working on just a single project. Ideally, switching back and forth between two projects keeps both fresh and means neither stalls long-term.
Of course, if someone could work solidly on a single project for years at a stretch, that would be faster to complete that project than if they were switching back and forth with a second project, but if someone would be running into a wall on their one project and stalling indefinitely, switching back and forth may complete both projects before they'd actually get a sole project completed.

Forgive me for asking, but I've been waiting for at least HJ or BJ tags to play the game, which still aren't there.

Even other devs have given up waiting on Ocean lol, jokes aside I really hope he delivers on that Feb-March release or I'm mentally erasing this game
