The game certainly DOES have a story in fact this is a literal blueprint for for every AVN game. Summers gone is the best written and best characterized AVN ever made. Where It all began is a very close second as well.

Ok you are either Trolling us or you are Delusional, How is the hell is a Adult Visual Novel that has been in the making for 7 years and only came out with 5 chapters in those 7 years one of the best AVN's ever made.

We literally have no background history of any of the characters all everyone does on this forum is guess and speculate about what they think the backgrounds of the characters are but nobody has any concrete proof, Even Ocean hasn't said shit about anything it's all very tight liped but that was planned from the get go.

And for what we know as of now we probaby will not get anymore insight to any of the characters history in the coming update.

But my expectations are very low so i can't be disappointed any futher than i already am but i am looking forward to the update to see everyones reaction to it i'll be sure to buy popcorn.

We do for some of them, especially Bella, Nami, Mila, Zara, Victoria and Nia. The rest are indeed mostly decoration.

On the other hand, after more than 6 years we still don't know what the hell happened with Summer At this point I couldn't care less even if she was abduced by Aliens.

The history we do have for those characters you mentioned is not even 1 page of history and that is like less than 1%.

To be perfectly honest the only thing i even like about Summer's Gone is the women and that is even hard to do because none of them have any real nudity maybe some tits and ass here and there but not full blown.

I mean be honest here what is the story some boy and girl have their crush on each other and then the girl leaves for a family trip only to never come back and then the boy grows up heart broken and never recovers from it.

So he does not ever grow out of his childhood first love and that prevents him from having any other kind of relationship and even effects his dick from getting hard even if a college hottie is showing some tits and ass in front of him.

And people say that is a amazing story i mean if you have no experience with reading books i guess you could say that.

Saying Summer gone is not well written is along the lines of saying that the Mona Lisa is not one of the most influencial paintings ever I.E factually untrue. Summers gone even after the rewrite is still the best written AVN by can not even see how that is up for debate, and Where It All Began is a very close second.

And it will remain tedious even if there is sex. If you played WIAB you will know that Ocean doesn't know how to do sex scenes. The scenes are boring, end fast and underwhelming. Trust me, the most likely scenario is that, when a sex scene finally occurs in SG, it will be disappointing af.

it's not the best , it's decent.
at some point , it had the potential to be really, REALLY good. Pinkcake's first VN (acting lessons) is to me the absolute best in terms of writing when it comes to smutVNs, but It's pretty heavy . and honestly , the only criticism i'd have towards acting lessons is it's hampered by its smut. it would had much more impact without the smut.

anyway I digress. saying it's the best while it's not even finished, heck it's not even past the first act is one hell of a stretch.
Bella's characterization is good and well paced, as for MC he's far too comfortable with sociabilizing regardless on what you're choosing, considering his background and how he's presented in his story . but It's okay I can suspend my disbelief, though I have to stretch it. it can still be good. but it's not the best.

to be honest, the girls kind of blend together a little bit, due to lack of characterization , but that maybe due to not enough time on screen .

Being a Dik i cant say its bad ive played it not my style but it does have one of the best UI's ive seen it has some nice sex scenes too and the graphics are nice, Summer's Gone has great writing to it tho i loved the writing and interaction between Cheeto and MC their way of intimacy , and Long Live The Princess was just a good game to play loved the story

I agree, although its biggest flaw is in its writing and the absurd number of plot holes. Despite everything, it's still one of the best AVNs out there when you compare it to the amount of slop that's out there.

SG definitely does not have the best writing.

BUT . IT MOST DEFINITELY has the BEST cinematic compositions in renders. the Staging/image composition is out of this world. now THAT . IS . A . FACT.
Ocean would be a really good director of photography. I mean it. He's probably a photographer or worked in some adjacent field.

the shots are so fking well crafted, even in low lighting. the one that let me speechless was the dutch angle of zara and nika walking on the football field. with her dress in the wind. man that was truly a fucking work of art, so fucking dramatic. and it's not the only one, it's just the one I remember . I haven't played it since last year

even a noob in photography would notice that.
And that's the thing that draws people in in the first place when they know nothing about the game. the renders catch you off guard, because they nail a composition , and ocean can draw your eyes EXACTLY where he wants to.

the renders are so fking dynamic, it's crazy . The colour space too. he changes the palette so well . like that shot that happens straight after class ( which was really colourful , with everyone there and all is normal, but suddenly he mentions the accident with vik and it goes to that anthracite hue. so clever.
