Don't tell me the game is dead please?
View attachment 5618205
Can't really say if it is or not ,We have not seen shit in 2 years so it's most likely is.

I mean as far as proof it's alive, Well all we have seen is some bullshit devlogs talking about everything except a time frame and release date coming and as far as everybody knows we can't say for sure on a single month of release but only guesses.

If you want evidence of a release date well you can't go by Oceans word because he lies through his teeth time and time again and procrastinates.

Wanna know, if this one ends up being one hell of an update would you guys support Ocean once again? Used to be a patreon at the time but he just kept making excuses and while working in SG he also started to work in WIAB and all that led us to there we are now with an "upcoming" update(2026 Q1 ) about two years after the last one, no patreon, an unreasonable desire to drop the game in Steam and a certainly longer wait for the next update.Yeah, things aren't too bright to us SG's enjoyers.
I'll buy the game on steam and contribute to the development. That said, Ocean has several business practices that I disagree with, and I don't think enabling them by providing support through SS or whatever is the right call.

I don't know. I was a Patreon myself too and I canceled my subscription after the rework (not because I didn't like it, more about the release-time problem).

If this new season is fantastic maybe I reconsider it, but if the schedule for future updates stills the same... Then I probably won't.

Hello,

I used a small portion of a cinematic and uploaded a teaser to YouTube: (Video is attached at the bottom, too.)

People are understandably wondering about a release date.

I will handle it the same way as I always do. I will give an exact release date the moment everything is 100% done, and all that’s left is to click “Release”.

It’s likely that the release will be one day after I announce a date.

Somewhere in 2025, I mentioned in a Dev Log, that I’d be redoing about 300-500 renders, because I wanted to change the environment.

The reason was, I’ll need to work in this environment for at least the next two Seasons, and the previous environments I chose weren’t that great.

The reason why I’m mentioning it is that I showed previews of the old ones that aren’t in the game anymore.

Like this one:

If you recall, I mentioned Mila can wear two outfits during this scene. I got rid of this one when I did the renders with the new environment.

And she’ll now only wear this one.

I didn’t get rid of it because it added a bit more work, but because I started to dislike the outfit. It’s too “cheap”.

Here is a preview of the new environment.

I will publish a small collection of the deprecated renders from the old environment after the release. It had some good ones.

The cinematics are done. I still need to do some postwork on the polished renders, and the UI is mostly done too.

There is one Ui element I still need to properly code. It’s the screen where you select your Season 1 save.

The last 30% of the game still needs to be tested. I’m doing it completely alone right now, but I will soon give it to some friends of mine, then they can do their playthroughs and test it as well.

I’m preparing a Steam/GOG reviewer version of the game. A version where every single scene and event can be seen without them having to replay the game like 20 times.

I’m sure this will speed things up. It’s a little tricky to set up because they won’t be importing all those variables from Season 1. I’ll have to manually define them.

I still need to fill the gallery… But I’m thinking about deactivating it for the initial release and adding it like a month later.

Oh, while doing postwork, I saw a render of a person I hadn’t even previewed…

I’ll leave it here because she’s awesome and it makes a good final preview.

I don't know about Mila's dress being cheap, but that yt preview is definitely cheap. If I didn't know any better, it would actually make me believe that Ocean hasn't done any development over these a couple of years

In short: I don't even have 50% of the game finished, I'm going to release it sometime in 2026 but it won't be January or February, wow I'll see Brazil become champion for the first time, but I won't see Season 2 of this game.

Somehow, she looks like a typical ladyboy from Thailand. :sneaky: JK
You take that back right fucking now! She looks good. She would look great with a bit more meat on her bones, though.

I'm more concerned about the height there...is Elsa a goddamn midget!?!?!!? Eva herself is quite short already... wtf? o_O
Nvm she's not that short. She's Nami-sized.

None of these come close in terms of renders quality, but move the chains and time heals are probably the closest to that. Sadly, Time Heals has terrible writing and I doubt it will be around for long, as for Move the Chains, it tries to be a hs type of game, but done in daz, not my type, but I appreciate the effort.
What is this mysterious render quality you guys always talk about? The only difference Ocean have is the way he uses lights and shadows as well as the overall filter. Which not always good considering how freaking dark his scenes often are. And you are wrong about those games beeing not even close. It is just the style suits you less. Style and quality are different things.
