It seems that there will no longer be 5 episodes per Season, as was originally planned .
According to a comment from Ocean on Steam, he plans to release another 7 or 8 episodes after the first 3 episodes of Season 2, meaning that Season 2 should ultimately be double or triple the length of Season 1.

Season 1 is “unusual” because it includes the episodes originally numbered 1, 2, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, and 5. So when the X.5 numbering disappeared, there were seven episodes.

It's technically not abandoned. It's just that It's takings years to get a new update. Thus yes It's worth it unless you don't like to wait one year or more for new content.
Stellar renders, stupid MC, episodes get re-done more often than new content comes out, last update...what, 2 years ago.
Personally, wouldn't bother.

I mean play the 5 chapters that has been out for 6 years all you want but as far as supporting Ocean , I would support another Developer that has a track record of bringing out updates on a regular not this year or more long wait bullshit.

Not abandoned, dev has autism, OCD or something that keeps him making "upgrades" and remakes every now and then. That's it.

Hello friends, as far as I can see, there are currently 2635 pages. Were these pages only used for chatting and discussing theories, or was fan art also shared? Because I couldn't find an actively used fan art section for Summer's Gone. If fan art was frequently produced and added here, I'd honestly like to browse through the pages.

Yes, I've seen this place and check it from time to time, but the creators aren't very active here. I'm not sure if it's because the game has been marked as abandoned, or because it's been two years since the last episode was released. I really wish SG's fan art section were as active as the BADIK fan art section. Maybe it will start to revive with the upcoming episode in the next month or two. Thanks for your help.
