"Hey, bowl cut, come hang out with me," Josephine said over the phone. "I'm at work," MC replied. "Then come after work. I'm so bored! Don't you want to keep your girlfriend company?" she whined. "Sigh, OK," MC huffed in defeat. MC arrived at Saga Dealership and tried to talk to Josephine. "Hey Josephine...Josephine...HEY!" MC shouted at her. "Oh hey, bowl cut," she said offhandedly. "Stop calling me that. If I am your boyfriend, call me by my name," MC demanded. "Think of it like a pet name," she offered. MC just stood there while she was scrolling on her phone. "Are you just going to be on your phone the entire time?" he asked. "Well, what else am I going to do?" she shrugged. "I'm leaving." And he turned to go. "Come on, it's boring if I'm here alone, and Lady Kim gives me the creeps," she pleaded. "Josephine!" Mr. Sato bellowed. "Are you helping with this... Oh, it's you, MC. Here to buy another vehicle?" he asked. "Uh. Yeah, she was helping me out," MC said with a smile. "Good, good. Carry on." And walked away. "UGH! I HATE THIS JOB!" as she flopped down on the desk. "Can't you just work somewhere else?" MC asked. "Not without getting kicked out," she grumbled—a plan formed in his brain. "You like scrolling through social media, right?" he asked " "Yeah. Who doesn't?" she answered. "And you're pretty good at telling what is trending and what is not? he asked. "I guess," she said with a face. "Well, go into business with me," he smiled. "What?!" she looked at him as he was high. "Why don't we make our social platform? My dad gave me money, and I have some favors I can call. You can be my Chief Marketing Officer." MC said. "But that's a lot of schooling," she worriedly said. "Get your dad to pay for it. I'm sure he'll be overjoyed; plus, you get to be out of this place, and I have a beach house you can stay in." MC leans in close. "I'll think about it," she smirked. A week goes by, and she calls. "Bowlcut. I don't want to do schoolwork, but it's better than this dump. Dad has agreed to pay for classes. You owe me MC". After graduation, MC, Eric, June, and Josephine each took their prospective classes at SVU and graduated. MC called in those favors (Nadya and Melonia) and funded his business. Eric and June worked on the code and figured out what they wanted it to be. It would be a social media platform called ChitChat that primarily focuses on local things. They would use it to spread the word about their town to people worldwide. Within 2 years, the business had grown tremendously in all facets of the city. The Rusty Angus became one of the best places to get steaks, and Nadya's vodka sold worldwide. Diane had to quadruple her operation to keep up with demand and employ half the women in town; some had distinct flavors to their milk. Also, her vegetables were a regular fixture at dinner tables and porn sites. Sugar Tats was busy 6 days a week, with Grace rarely taking a break. The school and police finally got the funding they deserved. Tony's Pizza became a chain. Priya's pills cornered the market on fertility. Saga Financial opened branches in 10 states, and Saga vehicles the same. Planet Thickness became a place to train premier athletes. Most of Mc's classmates became either influencers, sports stars, artists of every kind, or politicians. MC and Josephine married (she was on her phone the whole time). And she had one kid, Justine (she was glued to the phone then, too).
