None of the persistent's were working so I've cleared the cookie jar and now loading other persistent files won't make it come back but my saves are still there. Is there a way to get them back? No matter what I do (unzipping) or deleting hasn't worked.

use your phone when you load the save and hit the WiFi signal. Should be able to unlock all cookie jar after that. Enjoy.

So I'm not sure if ya'll are doing this, but you need to put the persistent file in your roaming folder, not your game folder.
Destination folder should look like:

username/AppData/Roaming/Renpy/SummertimeSaga

You need to display hidden files in order to see the AppData folder.
What's happening is the persistent file in your Roaming Folder is overwriting the one in your game folder.

I did it, but I still don't see the saved file in Saves. I cleared persistent and the "persistent" file still in the "saves" folder.
