Then you're being dishonest about both.I'm actually surprised it's taken this long for someone to bring up Star Citizen. I happen to think the parallels between the development of that game and the development of this one are kind of obvious.
Both are examples of projects that, at least to anyone not actually working on them, seem to be suffering from the same problems: feature creep, overly ambitious design, stuff like that.
And the same criticisms (and defenses) are being thrown around for both games, too.
He's dead. Stop being a prick on purpose.p.s.: I think it's time you tell us your real identity. You were OJ Simpson's lawyer when they prosecuted him for murder.
I agree, you're right there isn't a perfect solution. I just think there is a more efficient path forward than his current model. As I said earlier, his dev plan is kinda backwards. He's building the branches of the tree before the trunk.Well, there's no perfect solution. They can't throw it all in one big update because that would last way too long, and they can't split it in two consecutive updates (releasing the first half first and the second later once patreons vote for it again) because then you'd have a full update without real sex scenes, which is something patreons just don't tolerate. So in this area of conflict between release speed/update size, amounts of content and sex scenes they'll have to find a way and went for a compromise. I mean, we do get bigger updates now, so it's likely only 2 or 3 updates per character instead of 4 or more.
Isn't that more of an issue on your part? But it is a hassle to unlock the contraceptives.
I found it a rather fun part of the game, and it promises future story updates wrt/ Priya. But it is a hassle to unlock the contraceptives.
So i'm a hater cuase i'm telling you your god DC is robbing you? Hmm, that's some mighty fine armor. But if i'm this will be as good as fallout 76.You know what? I rather enjoy this fantastic game.
But -- Haters gonna hate.
Well then, don't support Summertime Saga. But, hey, you already don't. Not sure how you can be helped then. Play Wild Life and be happy maybe? Not gonna lie, the way he mentioned the 18.5 update before (I thought he said art had been done already?), I figured it was just waiting on animation so it'd be a week or two postponement. Not a month or more.
I'm not supporting and in no big rush, but there does seem to be some big issues with development and management.
Looking at another project being developed: Wildlife was making 10k when SS was in the 30k region and managed to get content up, create another, separate game and hire a team.
Now Wildlife is making almost the same amount, but the quality and amount of content they're producing is far higher. They've managed to acquire an office for work, they have a good team structure and someone who is managing the development to optimize everything.
They look professional and SS is just not. I understand in the past that DC said $30k was the goal and that's it, but he hasn't even staffed the team based off that goal (afaik) and with the amount he makes now it should really be a professional quality.
1.) Attempting to discount posts that are contrary to your view, because you likely lack a legitimate or sensible argument to support your view. Notice how I don't bash DC or the project, but simply compareed SS to another game and point out ways to improve content?Well then, don't support Summertime Saga. But, hey, you already don't. Not sure how you can be helped then. Play Wild Life and be happy maybe?
The main difference between the two seem to be hand drawn vs. rendered images. It is well known that the second are much easier to produce. I don't know Wild Life and I am surprised where out of a sudden that came from, because I was under the impression that Summetime Saga was the top adult project on patreon. If they provide content as fast as you say then I am happy for their community. But they require a $10 tier to get the uncensored thing as far as I see, while from DC you get everything for free.
Wildlife cut out the entire Lesbian sex animations last time I checked. Not gonna lie, the way he mentioned the 18.5 update before (I thought he said art had been done already?), I figured it was just waiting on animation so it'd be a week or two postponement. Not a month or more.
