What a Legend is still in a very early stage and has quite some potential, but I fear updates already begin to come slower the more complicated things get.
The good thing about What a Legend in that regard is, that they've more or less committed to one level of art/animation quality right away and we almost certainly won't see this huge change from "very basic/almost sloppy"to "quite well done" as we've had it here. Sure, there'll some feature/cut scene creep but it shouldn't be as noticeable.

So I guess there's hope that it's going to be quite a bit more constant, as long as they can keep the coding/posing/implementation/testing running. Given that both Chestnut and DC seem to draw more or less fulltime on these projects, I'd expect the content "per time unit" to be roughly the same. Having said that, it seems like the Magicnuts and Chestnut are a little more effective right now and don't spend as much time on luxuries as does DC.

Hey guys where is the roadmap, don't see see it on Patreon
Next to the short public one in the post above mine, there's a version for patrons which includes the overall progress. It hasn't been posted for quite a while here though, but you may find an older version somewhere.

If you got some constructive advice which could accelerate game making , contact the develop team directly, they will like it very much
You mean like taking some of that money and hiring more people?! Their 5 man team just isn't cutting in, but they don't want to hear that. Hell give srksrk68 a job, integrate the Naughty Tribute mod into the official game, then have'em do coding and bug fixes. That alone will greatly polish the game, and speed up the development.

Yes and no. Ultimately every 2D game is limited by the artist, in this case DC, who is already drawing full time. Adding more people in other positions may (greatly) improve the process and refine the game, but it won't speed up the development as a whole.
In other words, if DC needs another 3 years to draw the art for the game, the game will be done in 3 years plus the time it takes to prepare the final release and it won't matter whether they hire more coders, posers or so.

Hiring more artists on the other hand is a completely different matter and would require DC to change his own role from being the one who is drawing his game to being the one who mainly supervises/instructs other artists. And that's a step no 2D weg here has really managed until now. It looks like DC doesn't want to take it and for example Magicnuts/Chestnut seem at least sceptical about it, too.

Legend and Summertime winning pretty high was a given, what's more concerning was those slobs put a 3D asset-swap in 2nd place in "original art" category. It being above Summer is also questionnable

Yea becouse DC has such an unique , unmached , complex one of a kind art style , that there is no way in hell some one else can draw on the game, especially the tons of miscellaneous art that goes in the background. We all know what this is about . Its about project management and not wanting to share the income with a bigger team. And as i said before i dont blame the guy the pay model is such that he actualy dosnt have interrest to speed the develpment. Why finish a game for a year of two years when you can feed off of it for decates to come , untill your providers deside to move on to some other project.
