When it comes to that discussion, it's simply a fact that DC will just do whatever he wants and that it has never been black or white.

Since we've not seen them side by side like this until now, here's a comparison between new vs old Mia:

It's interesting to see how little DC actually bothered with his very first characters and how badly they where drawn at times (legs, arms, etc.). Then again, even before Mia was always lucky to have a rather well drawn face compared to many others, like old Roxxy, Jenny, etc.

Mia and the other girls really improved when they were redone. But for Debbie it's a straight downgrade in my opinion, yes even her face.

The quality overall is a step up but I don't always like the new style, he uses softer lines and shading now. Some girls really benefit from the new style but imo most of them don't.

Roxxy definitely looks better but Debbie used to look more realistic with somewhat proper proportions. DC kind of butchered her if you compare new (left) to old (right). Other characters suffer from this too where the proportions are weird, their tits look like balloons and they end up looking like a midget.

EDIT: It also seems unnecessary that her robe is open all the way down now, like why?

The Anon & Mrs. Smith image is an edit by srksrk 68, you can clearly see that he edited Mia's new hips/legs onto both Anon and Mrs. Smith with just a little bit of image manipulation.

Good god. I didn't realize that Debbie used to look that old. I'm glad I only started playing a few months ago.

As said before, in Debbie's case I'd agree when it comes to her robe, but personally I still prefer her new looks in general. In fact, I think I actually like all of the new characters better compared to their older versions. There may be some cases where I'd wish DC would have toned it down a bit and where he'd chose to add a bit more variety when it comes to their breast, but that's basically it for me.

Maybe the split choice could be either

A) romantic relationship with Annie and one where you corrupt/dominate her mom
or
B) romantic relationship with her mom and you corrupt/dominate Annie

Gotta say I prefer the old version of Smith where you can see the buttons straining on her top, but in general I have real difficulty spotting the difference even side by side for most of these redraws. And Smith looks better in Mia's jeans

Not shown in the latest j4y pic, but every1 and their notmom had those godawful cheekbone lines that made them look like 60+. Best thing DC did was remove those and smooth out the faces, costumes appreciation may vary

I just redrew all of the Debbie shower sex images for my mod and, after seeing your side-by-side comparison, I removed one line from Debbie's face and four lines from Anon's face in each image. Debbie went from a 5 to a 6.5, and Anon got 10 years younger. It's quite amazing how much of a difference a single checkbone line or a line under the eye can make.

I guess tastes really differ a lot. To me this old, rough shading has always been a downside.
