Nah I'm fairly sure that and the roll back were DC's doing, I want to say it was Panda that disabled them because they broke the game. Dogeek's the one who without DC's permission pulled a few nighters to get the current save system working.

Ok I have been reading the Discord server for a while today and I found some interesting details that, in good faith, can explain why all this process is been a mess for 3 years. I hope this could help the public here to understand the situation of the development of this infamous Tech Update and have other comments about this subject other than "DC is a scammer" or "the team is a bunch of lazy people", that to be honest have become quite boring and repetitive.

Holy shit I've been reading the Discord and how the fuck did Dogeek keep his job as long as he did. Apparently on top of being an unlikable cunt to everyone. He named a bunch of variables "booger aids" and never left any comments on any of his work while also doing everything as stupidly complex as possible to show off what a smarty pants coder he was.

I mean, by French standards that's a pretty pleasant co-worker. He was probably annoyed that DC had him working during the French holiday known as "Summer".

Even so, wouldn't the incest patches be broken? Or did the writing get 0 touch-ups as text/code? I don't think the "family" crowd would be thrilled to replay two already completed storylines without the part that satisfies them. Then again while skimming through the last page I saw "new art" mentioned and unless you're all just mentioning the wallpapers it could be enough to draw fans in. (Edit: actually isn't aunt Diane the only one retaining the "aunt" in vanilla? And her story is not gonna be included so the relative-loving fans are getting shafted either way)

To everyone complaining about mods being sell-outs, I'm personally waiting until it's the 1st. Not a fan of Morado but he knows the site rules and has been mentioning May 1st a lot of times, there should be a reason or precedent he's seen. If the whole 1st goes by and there's still no tag then I'll join the anti-mods riots.

To be clear, Dogeek was the former coder, he was fired years ago for this behavior.

There's no way this guy is going to also update character arts. If recoding a fucking 2d porn game is taking years redrawing most female characters is getting finished in the next decade, doesnt matter though, most dudes will keep stroking their dicks for the same shit for 10 years

Basically, the game has made more money in these last 3 years than it ever did before. So the game made more money while we didn't get a single update. It's sickening.
