Why are people whining about this? Absolutely retarded. It isn't like he thought up some bullshit reason to delay it and then went awol for 3 months or more like some other lazy patreons I can name. He is still streaming every night 2 to 3 hours at a time, churning out more content in a week than some do in their entire "carreer".
According to things the artist has said definitively on stream (since for some reason the trap always winds up being discussed and speculated on in every discussion of SS): The trap is a character who has been in from the very beginning of the game, the trap is one of the classmates from school, the trap is a male who identifies and dresses as female, the trap has not had any surgeries but might be on hormones, and the trap was planned as a trap from the very start and hasn't changed. So its definitely NOT the banker, who was drawn on stream from input from the chat and she was added in the second or third update and is also not a classmate. He will not reveal conclusively who the trap is until their update which will happen whenever their character is voted on to be updated.
On the update itself: all the art for 0.10 is finished and in the programmers hands, it has NOT been pushed back to Feb - it should come out within the next few days. It will be the largest update so far and will include a new fuckable character with four scenes (Ivy, the redhead from the pool changing rooms is now the owner of the sex shop and has a 'massage room' in the back) but will mainly focus on Aunt Diane's story and scenes.

edit 2. lets also not forget the "ill trade you my homework for your lollipop" scene, its very obvious foreshadowing that the main character is gonna suck his/her "lollipop"

Trap and transexual are completely different things. Transexuals usually go through the surgeries and trap just trying to look and act like girl. Maximum traps can do is to take hormones or whatever, besides dressing and acting like a girl.

As for these wild theories about author having a character on his avatar... Yeah, well, I'm not going any deeper to that, because for me things seem pretty obvious.
