Progress reports on patreon (bi-weekly at the least).
They don't even have to be too specific.

"Hey guys. This week x% got done. We're currently in the middle of working on assets/scenes./ We're stuck on this bit with the code and thats why you don't see x progressing."
Well, that's what those trackers are for and people can get those informations anytime they want. I mean, he can't get more detailed than them without totally spoiling the update. Sure he could do it but I don't see which actual additional information you'd gain.

It's not about gaining any new information. It's about accessibility and the feeling like you're getting information. Most people who aren't patrons don't have access to/ or don't know how to get said information. Keeping your community constantly updated is important even if its mostly bs it's better than leaving them in the dark, especially when the internet is as dumb as it is.

Well, that's certainly a sound argument though I still don't really agree with the whole basic premise. As said, it's nowhere easier to get all those information in detail and if people can't be bothered they have no real reason to complain either. That said, given that his patreon numbers look very good most people seem to be happy anyway.

DC likely doesn't want anyone else drawing because he views the characters as his own creation. It's a common territorial thing with artists, especially for small projects like this compared to large-scale studio workplaces where multiple artists work on the same characters.
A fine point in art skills is being able to follow a model sheet.

Imagine that being said about any other game/movie/comic book and you'll understand why I think DC is laughing at everyone who gives him money. At current rates he's looking to make over a million dollars for this piece of shit. Hats off to him for finding so many suckers.

A fine point in art skills is your own creativity and freedom to do things your way.

Marvel employs artists that come in to do a job and produce stories and art for them.

Same with Top Cow and other art house studios. But at the end of the day, Marvel characters are theirs as that's a work for hire contract. Not the individual artist and the story they spent four years on.

What you're basically signing on to is that people should be treated this way for a faster production line on DC's game.

Obviously, not everyone is going to sign on when they have their own passions and interests and community to cater to.

The main reason is indeed a new rig system, which reduces the size of the game. Up until some time ago most sprites where saved as a whole while now facial impressions, bodies and arms/assets are saved on different layers and can be combined at will. It seems that the number of mobile players has risen sharply during the last year and DC wants to make sure the game will continue to work well on android. Else it's of course true that we'll get a consistent art/animation standard across all characters. Until now most of the early characters/animations are really quite bad compared to the latest ones. Back then DC had to push updates which came at the cost of quality. I mean, if you compare for example early Jenny updates, her art was rough, we had 2 frame animations and quests which basically purely cosisted of "earny money -> buy toy -> talk to Somrak -> repeat 3x". If you compare that to what we are getting now, it'll simly take more time.

Where can I see old mom, aunt and sister?
You can search Summertime saga on porn hub, there you Will find complete walktroughs of older versions of the game. Involving the old art for the family members. Or you can play the game as It is, since only diane has significantly been changed so far. Mom and sis have the old art in most of the scenes.

I don't think they should have any obligation to people who aren't patrons, they aren't "customers". That said, you don't have to be a contributor on Patreon to see the tracker anyway.

Maybe I am reading you wrong, but tell me, what entitles you to anything regarding this or any game, birthright, genetic defect, what?

It's not about why """I""" or any non-patron's entitlement to information. It's about making information readily available. There are plenty of patrons and non-patrons who are dogshit stupid and could use any sort of spoonfed update. But I'm also not demanding info. I can read the charts. Others can't. I just suggested an idea.

Hey all, I just released my second Summertime Saga mod. I find it a bit hard to find mods since we lost the game sub-forum so I thought I should point it out here. Maybe have a link to the in the first post?

You'll find the Massage Mod which gives Roxxy actual shiny skin during the massage scenes, and the Heatwave mod which is my attempt to make the game even sexier.
