I think the main problem is that the art is the most important thing of the game, I think if he would try to get a good artist like that they would want way too much money for it.

Not only is he releasing the game for free but unlike a ton of other sleazy Devs, he's not locking any of the content behind bs $25-40 tiers...more yet, he sometimes takes less time between updates than people working in 3D programs that are way faster, while he has to draw everything by hand.
There's very few porn games with dedicated and good Devs, don't take it for granted.
