Im huge fan of DC but this update was a total garbage in the way of not having new content, 5 month's and the content is simply rework nothing very new to see and the other 3 animations that should be in this update are coming in 1 month due to lack or management, idk wtf is going, the animations should be the frist or middle phase of the developing but no the animation were the last thing to do and its taking 1 week each with is BS the animators should be ashamed (i see people doing way harder animations in less then 3 days or even less), Jenny content is simply disappointment it doesn't explain the 5 months the art is in total were done in less then a month (we all know it took more due to DC only doing 2 to 4 hour max of work each day knowing aswell he takes about 1 hour on stream to do a character) the rest was coding and animations, i do hope the 18.5 extra scenes are worth the wait if not im done with SS, the development is taking longer and the content is shorter but the patreons say that dev team is producing more content then usual idk where they must be dreaming or just kiss-ass, this update have at least for those i have encounter +30 bugs, i think its better if DC get another coder to help Dogeek and find a bloody artist to do some art cause dc is no longer having the some pace has he had before. very disappointing.

No one that's complaining has figured out all the engine changes. They basically think they bought a Supra when the engine is that of a Mitsubishi and don't see the differences in engine and under the hood stuff.

what I don't understand is everyone is saying to wait a week or two for the bugs to get worked out before playing the games update to where it is playable again, but I though the whole last update was mostly bug fixes

No, @Jonboy80 isn't being defensive by pointing out flaws while not giving in to hyperbole as your other comments have.
Also, no one said it was acceptable or not. Merely that DC is working on things under the hood as well as spank material.
Factor in loss of productivity with a coder leaving the project, time spent on other details of the project, and everything else, and yes, it's safe to say that an update takes a bit longer to finish than normal. People are just blueballed to hell and back because they fail to play something else in the meantime and focus too much on one game.

It's a repeating theme that the first few days of an update are rocky and the patches fix that for a smoother ride. I'm waiting till 18.5 since I'm gonna be busy redoing the entire game.
I pay patreon a dollar a month, and I sure got $5 bucks worth from this update.
What a steaming pile. what an absolute sh!t shoot. and here come the fanbois, if you don't like dont support. Im sure this scammer DC wants you to not say this. See he wants your money, and to not leave, listen to your saviour. he has delivered. a massive sh!t in your mouth, enjoy.
I absolutely laugh, this entirely validates ever person "whinging" about the delay. the "offscreen" content was almost non existent so lets add up the number of hours on picarto tv, minus the game playing over this 5 month period. this sh!tbag works 3 days a week for 1.5 hours a day to earn 50k a month, and you sheep defend him? join a cult you mindless saps.
Theres a reason this clown is on patreon, as his last employer clearly sacked him for lack of input. he has talent no ones going to argue, but he's taking the absolute piss.
If this pr!ck put in 40 hours a week like most of us hard working, tax paying individuals who funnily enough support this lazy POS, then maybe just maybe an absolute gem of a game would emerge, but no, the patreons will leave and the game will lose sight and it'll end at 21.5 in the year 2750.

The corner is all the animation done in 2 weeks, but 5 months after the last update, where the coding was also done in 2 weeks, but wait, they need the pics from DC.
Well sh!t I dont know, maybe do that first, then the non NSFW stuff can be done by the weekend only part time animator does his stuff. seriously, 30 minutes in any managers meeting would show these clowns how to do it better.

I know the first version was inspired by a real youtuber. Did she complain or something ?

if its here quickly, that mean its probably patreon version. wich is a kind of testing version with bugs. and then a X.05 version pop out as "public" version with most of bugs fixed.
that's how it worked if i remember good.

Also, 30k is still above the last goal stated for game development, fyi. Anything beyond 25k goes to whatever the hell they want to spend it on. 25k was to hire and pay the last staff member under the "Extra Help LVL-3" tier.
But, funnily enough, the numbers have already risen back to what they were after the first of the month drop.

We live "comfortably" in Greece for less than 1000. Only politicians get a 5k plus salary.
With 5000 i would buy a fucking island in a few years...
my salary change all the time depending of situation. mostly play between 1600 to 1800€/month. but i have some bonus due to the risk of my job and fact i work for the government (and not for a company)
