Given the commentary on the last 15 pages, I'm going to suggest just coming back in 18.5. It seems incomplete for all that's missing.
I value Story, but more than that, I value concept, coherences and potentiality.
=> i don't care for bugs, they will be corrected soon enough
I tryed it, to see with my owns eyes : I got bored after 1 hour ... And frustrated by the new mecanics and the lack of opportunity :
- you can't buy quest objet before needing them anymore ... (pink store, objet in House, or even take the shovel in advance for Diana quest).
- in the same idea, you cannot open a door or a box if the story doesn't want you to. (it have been increased since 0.17.5)
- there isn't any replayability and with the path the dev seems to take, there won't be any :
= the story is linear, when we do it once, we did it until death ... (same goes for a lot of game) when a update is out, i only seek for the new things.
= all minigame seems to be here just to increase the time before completion ... I think player shouldn't wanna skip minigame, but try them and take pleasure from them (like undressing game, sexual posture game with interactions like lifting legs or anything ...)
- A word about coherences : when Jenny is in the kitchen and i bang Debbie, I want to know what should inevitably happen : being catch for ours lack of discretion ... (may be in futur update, but that mean the dev will have to rewrite and recreate all the scene and the interaction mecanics, again ... x) )
- etc etc ...
While time passed, I came to realise that my expectation exced what I can found in other's game. So I guess I should apply the french proverb "We are never better served by someone else than Ourself" and develop my own game.
(i hope it's undertandable, I'll think twice before making english trad myself xD )

I can see why some people wouldnt like Jenny remade content. In previous versions she was bitchy but you had a lot of opportunities to turn the tables on her with shower/couch/handcuff scenes. In the new version mc is completely passive, this change of dynamic kind of sucks.

From what is going on, it seems that Dogeek as the only coder has really affected the quality in a very bad way. If the story is linear, they may have sacrificed the free roam parts in order to get some temporary goals in place.
I also have a feeling that this one is incomplete and 18.5 is what's needed to finish it up.
And I will say that your English is better than my French...
Yeah, it feels like a different writer came on and completely rewrote it in contrast to the original as well as the MC's progression through the rest of the game. I always thought this game was about the MC getting over the sadness/depression of his father dying and him being a loser to becoming the popular kid at school that gets the hot chick and is the hero that solves his father's murder. While all of this is going on, to then have him be a pitiful loser that begs his bitchy sister for sexual favors seems like it goes in stark contrast. Even the end of the Jenny chain in 18.0 is pretty pathetic with the MC falling in love with Jenny like a puppy dog and her resoundingly denying him.
That in addition to all of the bugs in this release only lowers my hopes that DC & co. would turn things around. Sadly it seems like each release is going to change something I liked previously in the game, add a small handful of stuff that I'll have to grind through from the very beginning to all over again to see, and break a whole bunch of other stuff since the game is running on spaghetti code that only gets worse with the more characters arcs and event flags they add to it. There is such a thing as being overly ambitious, and this game is proving the detriments of that.
I really wish DC would have just stuck to a small group of character arcs to finish completely first, then go back and add in sidestories and whatnot for the extra characters to make it easier to check code and sweep for bugs to make sure anything broken by the additions is found quickly.
To be fair, that's subjective. I haven't played yet (waiting for the inevitable bugfix update), and my opinion could easily differ from yours based on what I think of it.
People can be "mad" at what's been given in the update when examining as the total content and time taken since the last update (around christmas, so a little over four months I think).
The real issue is how bent out of shape some people are being, and how the majority of complaints come across acting all righteous yet not as someone who is a patron. Granted that doesn't give them less right to criticise, but it makes their arguments look increasingly like those of a bratty child.
At the same time, there are more than a fair share of people criticising and borderline belittling both the complaints and those making them, and vice versa.
There's a hefty dose of hypocrisy in this thread, and it's simultaneously funny-as-fuck and ridiculous.
