Not to mention it's 70 known bugs out of 29 code modules: that's an average of 2,4 bugs per module...It's unironically interestingHow did they estimate bugs on an incomplete chapter without finished content, I wonder.

As far as I'm aware the bugs/issues tracker isn't part of the current percentage. It'll only really become relevant once they actually start bug testing and they'll add tasks when they arise. Last time the number basically doubled (to ~150?) before the release came. How did they estimate bugs on an incomplete chapter without finished content, I wonder.
Done that, last time i played this game was 2 updates back, there are lots of god games with updates every month.Lucky you, you don't have to play the game if you think it's boring. And judging by the numbers, the game's doing just fine in popularity with or without your contribution, so you can move on to something more interesting to you.
I disagree with you about the game being boring. But, agree with you that this isn't the only game you can play. If everyone here thinks like you do and not get caught up with how DC work and releases. Then, there would be less complaining here. There are other games to play out there. I am currently playing Princess Trainer Gold Edition. I seem to speed up the days, next thing you know the Eve update has already been released. If you're busy with other stuff, time tend to get faster.Done that, last time i played this game was 2 updates back, there are lots of god games with updates every month.
Sure. But there's exactly zero games with monthly updates, that come anywhere near the level of quality that SS has. If there was a game with the quality of SS with monthly updates, with as much content per update, that really would be a god game.Done that, last time i played this game was 2 updates back, there are lots of god games with updates every month.
Good Girl Gone Bad, Tales of Androgyny (Actually weekly-ish updates full of content), SpaceCorps XXX...to name a few. SS is great but its not the best in terms of time/content ratio.Sure. None of the above even approach the overall quality of SS. And not just saying as a fanboy, but objectively.Good Girl Gone Bad, Tales of Androgyny (Actually weekly-ish updates full of content), SpaceCorps XXX...to name a few. SS is great but its not the best in terms of time/content ratio.
Thats your opinion.None of the above even approach the overall quality of SS. And not just saying as a fanboy, but objectively.
Nope. Objectively looking at the titles you mentioned for instance, none require anywhere near the level of dedication and time in art alone that SS does. None have full custom hand drawn backgrounds, or the minigames etc mechanics SS has, and while GGGB for example used to have monthly updates, the amount of content provided has never been even close to the smallest of SS updates in recent memory.Thats your opinion.
GGGB may not have the art gameplay mechanics but the multiple choices make it just as good as SS.None of the above even approach the overall quality of SS. And not just saying as a fanboy, but objectively.
LOL just goes to show how much you know because Tales of Androgyny and GGGB both utilize hand drawn assets by artists who work on the game and in the case of Tales the team consist of only 2 people.Nope. Yours is an opinion, not an objective comparison. If multiple choices are what you appreciate, then I congratulate you. You've got hundreds of games here on this site to keep you content for years. Personally, I prefer something more than a simple VN with a so-so story.GGGB may not have the art gameplay mechanics but the multiple choices make it just as good as SS.
GGGB has original art? LMFAO If scanned porn pics, modified and coloured in compares to complete original art for you, then fine. Not to mention that GGGB uses a shitload of same exact art for multiple routes and scenes to boot.LOL just goes to show how much you know because Tales of Androgyny and GGGB both utilize hand drawn assets by artists who work on the game and in the case of Tales the team consist of only 2 people.
You just proved your biased though because any person who actually has played tales or GGGB would know that the artist who work on them actually post WIP of their work on twitter and show WIP updates. So thank you for showing that you are subjective about anything when compared to SS.
With that being said its best we just agree to disagree, no point flooding this thread with fanboy back and forth.
Your judgement is clouded with bias and emotion, hell the very notion of quality is a heavily opinionated basis so this argument in essence is redundant. You are free to continue thinking whatever you want tbh I could care less I just wanted to add my 2 cents. Summetime Saga is a good game but definitely not the best to me.GGGB has original art? Well yeah I thought it was obvious enough that it's an opinion that I'd have to literally write out "In my opinion"Yours is an opinion, not an objective comparison. I'm not sure if I'd consider tracing outlines of actual pornographic images as "hand-drawn". I'm not knocking it's artwork, btw. Just saying there's a difference between free form drawing and tracing when it comes to quality, aesthetics and difficulty.LOL just goes to show how much you know because Tales of Androgyny and GGGB both utilize hand drawn assets by artists who work on the game and in the case of Tales the team consist of only 2 people.
Doesnt change the fact that every month GGGB puts out consistent content updates.I'm not sure if I'd consider tracing outlines of actual pornographic images as "hand-drawn". I think in general it's worth looking at the content in detail. In the very beginning SS had "bloated" content aswell. Jenny's old approach was a perfect example, where we had many quests (buying all those toys) and tasks (sneaking into her bed/shower, trading panties, etc. ) which created a lot of playtime yet required minimal additional work to implement. One may argue if reusing assets that way is good or bad and that's why it's rather hard to compare.Doesnt change the fact that every month GGGB puts out consistent content updates.
DarkCookie seems to consider a middle ground, he just posted this on Discord:I mean, it's not like DC couldn't split his updates into many smaller ones. He actually did that back in the past and back then people complained that the updates he released were inconclusive and felt unfinished.
