It's a fair argument but as long as it doesn't really affect something crucial, I don't mind it that much. They'll fix those things quickly and then everybody is good to go. Eve's content seems to work well, which is probably what counts for the vast majority.

I guess they really wanted to make sure that those who absolutely can't stand that kind of content won't even notice. Like this you can basically play the game without knowing there's a trap, while only those who are open to the idea in the first place will get the choice. I'd say it's quite elegant.

Well, Sploosh said this would happen on the day Eve won the poll. The funny thing is that almost nobody believed him. Else DC made always clear that he wouldn't announce the trap beforehand and given that it was meant to be a schoolgirl, Eve was indeed the only real choice in the first place.
In case you only want to play her new content you are good to go. Else you'll probably have to wait 1 or 2 days.
