Ugh, the josephine story is bugged for me for some reason, and it bugged all the others too. When I went to tell her the news i deleted the photo's, i got thrown back to the very beginning of her story. For some reason, I also keep getting a "eve snuck into the auditorium" when i try to enter the school and as such cannot enter it because i'm supposed to go to check up on her.
Several other quests also got reset.

Yay, I finally managed to find the time to play. In conclusion one can feel that it was probably supposed to be a 3 months update, which got delayed by circumstances, just like Diane's update back then. So it probably should have been out 4 to 6 weeks ago for the content to match the time it took.

Having said that, the update itself isn't really bad. The story and the whole Tony/Maria setting fits well and certainly adds to the game, Josephine was fun, the dialog connections seem to work (at least with Diane, has anybody tried Becca?), we've finally got some pregnant sex and the cliffhanger was fitting. I'm looking forward to the second part.

As negatives I'd see the slighly bloated pizza-mini-game/money/ambusches context and indeed the fact that Mrs. Hendicks seems somewhat interchangeable with Ivy at best, somewhat useless for now at worst. In my opinion it would have been ok to simply replace Ivy in one way or the other. Her massages never really mattered anyway. But I guess we'll see what else is planned for both of them. Last but not least I'd really hope that they'll finally get a grip on the savegame issue. While it didn't matter that much this time, the game is slowly really reaching a scale where it has to work.

All in all it's broadly as expected, but it certainly took longer than it should have. Especially if one compares it to 0.19.5 which took them ~7 to 8 weeks. Let's hope 0.20.5 will match that speed again.

Dialog connections works also with Becca, and I agree with Josephine part (best part of the update). I've never have high expectations about 0.20 so I don't feel dissapointed or satisfied with it. I think 0.20 is on par with Diane update(not great, not terrible).
About savegame issue, I think there could be more problems considering that Rhonda, Annie, Judith storylines start nearly from beginnig of the game and they will need a rework. I guess that we will have start from scratch more than once in future.

i'm really enjoying the update more than i thought i would. the maria scene is hot honestly and josephine really grew on me. don't know about the red haired lady but it's funny to find out who her daughter is.

I can't enough express my gratitude for your countless hours of time and effort have gone in to this game to make it more naughtier and enjoyable for folks over here. Shouldnt the dev themselves provide saves up to date with their most recent content? (as taffy tales does for example) That would stop 99% of the complains about save compatibility.
Maybe leave the branching quests off too if the dev cant provide a way to pick the option for those on the save.

He did in the last updates, but only with the public release (after the paying Patrons did most of the bug testing and a fix is released).
So with any luck you'll get your wish in 1-2 days when the public release happens.

I was thinking in the shower: Does Summerville have a city flag?
Honestly would be cool to have it somewhere in the game for immersion. Would be nice to see a creative design that represents all the sexiness and fun of Summertime Saga.
