hey guys, so i've been away from this game ever since that update (don't remember which one) where old saves stopped working altogether and you literally had to play the whole thing all over again, which at this point, considering how much content there is and how many hours it takes to get through it all, is absolutely ridiculous, but i'm willing to do it again, that's how good this game is, though i'd like to start a fresh playthrough after the next update, does anyone know what this "tech-update" is and when does it come out? patreon says it's 64% complete but i have no idea what this means as in when we can expect it to be released, how many more weeks are we looking at?

Nobody but DC and his team know. Sploosh hinted that they'd add characters who have no scenes at all or just very old ones, which means it's pretty unlikely that Grace would get one.
DC created an additional background for Ivy's room behind the pink store some streams ago, so I'd guess she may get one of these scenes.

As far as I remember he said some time ago that he wasn't sure if his next project would be NSFW, too, but given how many years are left for SS and given that DC tends to change his mind at times and isn't probably even sure himself right now, I wouldn't take any of that 100% serious at the moment.
One has to keep in mind that there was a time where he was already kinda "planning" his next game but then decided to rework SS "instead"...

I think there's a pretty good chance his next game isn't an adult game because he's got young kids now. "What does Daddy do for work?" becomes a very awkward question to answer in his position, and I know there are other creatives (Phil Foglio comes to mind) who said they'd be stepping away from adult work until their kids were much older. It'd be a good opportunity to flex his creative muscles in new directions, too, and he's probably not all that worried about money by this point.

Although I doubt he'll rush into a making a new game (I'm sure he'll take a well earned break when SS is finally completed!) I imagine it's difficult to walk away from that kind of assured revenue stream.

Anything more tangible than wetdreaming what DC does with his life in 5 years when the game is (maybe) done or questionning your life choices for why wincest was removed 4 years ago and how the scenes were hot garbage back then (aka the last year of empty debates around the thread)
