The real reason it's taking so long is because he's secretly overhauling the entire art style, behold a leaked image of what to expect. Don't ask me for more information, details, or validity. I refuse to answer because this 100% not made up and I have proof but will never share it because you should just believe me.

Unless someone here is having an affair with DC, no one could possibly know. It's likely that even DC doesn't know, but there's certainly no point asking the question here. We have no inside information from which to hazard a guess.

DC only does the art part (and a shitty PR job). His part was (mostly) done last year, all he's been doing since then is make more stuff for either the lewd batches or get a head start for R(h)onda's update (which should be mostly done by now too). We're waiting for the posers and coder to do their job for the tech update, not DC. Even if he dies tomorrow, the game could/should still come out with at least 3 updates (batch 5, tech, and a wonky R(h)onda)

Understood. Don't really care who finishes it, but it would be nice to see a finished game or at least further progress.

He already makes enough money, money isn't the problem. There's multiple bottlenecks in game development that can't simply be solved by throwing money at it.

And as soon as he puts the game on Steam people actually pay for the game itself (on Steam) rather than pledge to support the game like right now through Patreon.

While I would play something with that art style the art style used on ss isn't a problem as someone said up higher if you want that look go play a 3d game or real porn. I'm 32 now and seeing nude bodies all the time has made porn boring.
