from what i understand its to upgrade the game engine and update the character models not sure if it adds any story content

That's going to be the part people are actually going to see and it was a pretty popular demand. Next to that they seem to be reworking basically everything that's actually below the surface, which hopefully will help to fix a few issues going forward.
By now it's hard to tell what else we may or may not get. There'll certainly be a good number of new locations and characters, we may get the new phone UI or at least parts of it, given that DC seems to have finished all the assets and I'd say we'll get least one more scene, too. But nobody, but DC and his team, will really know, what's going to be added now and what's to come later.

4:3 to 16:9 which is very good. Apparently they're recoding the game too so it's easier for them to work with and the game will be less likely to bug out/crash. And DC will add some locations and shit in the tech-update too. So it's not just a higher resolution but it still takes wayyy too long for what the update really is.

i would hope all previous quests would be updated and the art redone to match the better art style but i don't know if im asking too much

Lolnope, at least not intentionally. All the improved art will happen in new routes/remakes. Even if it takes 10 updates and 20 years
"Quests updated" to what ? The game won't change, just the code underneath to help it not crash and burn if you do 3 routes at once (and many other things) and provide a better foundation for future updates (imagine trying the dating stuff but everything bugs down cause you're talking to 2 girls mid-routes and the game expects you to choose 1 you never saw entirely)

Yes to both. 1 destroys your game, the other can too if you mess too much with it. Use the phone menu in-game and deal with the aftermath

I think it's the first time he actually streamed something close to the process of creating a full scene. The last time he did something similar was way back when the game still had 2 frame "animations" or so a couple of years ago.
I guess that kinda shows why there are comparatively few animations, given how much time it takes.

The 1st post is 6 years old and was never updated. Many screenshots aren't in the game anymore anyway. Don't bother too much about anything not the download links, and even then, you can just get the game from the main site (free for every1). And then there's a good reason why they cockblocked both the console and rollback. Have fun re-enabling them and buttfucking the game (srk's mod will come into talk soon enough)
I'm actually waiting for the tech update to play this game for the first time! Any thoughts on if the tech update will release this year or are we looking to wait for 1 more year?

Unless Santa's elves are kidnapped to work on the tech update, I don't see it coming before the new year. I'm looking at spring 2023.

It's updated with most recent links. They never bothered about anything else. Screencaps be damned. We're also missing some primary tags like : big tits. It also took months of whining and spammage to get the dreadful gallery unlocker removed from there
Hi! I think my issue is more that I lack experience repackaging APKs, so I asked for help with repackaging it. The game works fine any of the mod configurations/mixes I tested on the PC version, it's just that when I apply even a single mod to the APK and repackage, I run into installation issues.
