I wish you guys would stop being so obvious with your bait. You're basically throwing the entire fishing rod into the water now.
Don't know If you're referring to me, but mine was a genuine question, haven't played in a while and was curious to see if there was something new added, then I saw when the game was last updatedI wish you guys would stop being so obvious with your bait. You're basically throwing the entire fishing rod into the water now.
so the incest patch and the translation patch can't go together? When using translations, if you are using another mod/patch - it may not be compatible (such as the i-patch) and you are going to have this problem. Remove all other mods/patches except for the translation and play the game.
Right here, see Section 3, "Prefixes". If anyone is too lazy to click/read, here's the summary:Just wondering about the tags, shouldn't it be "on hold" or smth? No updates for a year really doesn't make it look good.. It's not abandoned(according to DarkCookie, his streams and his "team") but to show nothing for a year.. hell, even before, with small updates like few lines of text+few poses of characters. The whole thing feels off.. Where are the rules on tagging topics about being on hold/abandoned?
No. They each basically do the same thing - replace current text with new text, so they conflict with each other.so the incest patch and the translation patch can't go together?
Well it wouldn't really do anything, anyone who's coming on here will see the thousands of pages of people saying it's a money grab. They will also see the date of the last update.
The real issue is with the Patrons (basement virgins/coomers - already a lost cause) and the terms on Patreon. Even if DC doesn't deliver on anything like Discord roles and faster update access, the responsibility is still on the patron to stop payments and/or demand a refund. Patreon essentially says "not my problem coomer, more money for me".
So IMO for this type of stuff to not happen:
The legal solution is to have an FTC violation case against Patreon for deceptive practices or knowingly allowing misrepresentation/fraud to happen. This is very hard to prove since you need multiple cases where creators committed outright fraud and Patreon did nothing but collect the money. You could also maybe have a case against DC and name Patreon in it? Idk
The easier "non-legal" solution would be to get a bunch of game journalists to take interest in this issue, followed up by having youtubers (*cough* *cough* moistcriti *cough*) make videos and people on twitter/X complaining. This would catch Patreon's eye since it makes them look bad to investors and gets the FTC on their ass. They'll most likely give DC a warning that they will come after him if he continues and they get more complaints.
I was thinking about this a few days ago. If DC only gets 1 dollar a month, you know that he'll update after a couple of days. You want to see an update? Start cancelling your Patreon donations.
Yeah but you are supposed to feed your fireplace with that and then start a nice fire to heat up the room. It's not meant to be used inside a "game".Well you better get used to it because you're already seeing some games coming out using only A.I art.
yikesHow fucking delusional are you people? Do you genuinely think the FTC would give ZERO fucks about a poon game on Patreon? This forum is sure getting a reputation for crying...whining...and mass reporting devs. What do you guys think this accomplishes? Honestly...
People posting on a .to pirate site that actively steals creator content....going to a crowd funding source and complaining about not being able to steal the content fast enough....wants to get a government agency involved and chase legal remedies in order to get their 2D batin' on....you guys are hilarious.
They were absolutely correct in their response to your insane ideas. You simply placing the insanity behind a spoiler doesn't change that.yikes
Idk why you're assuming I want these things.
Anywho I fixed it so maybe the next reader doesn't pop a vein.
Unfortunately you can't block on this website so I can only grace you with an ignore.
Cheers.
I think they are adding in Followers which are considered "Free" Patrons now. My page tripled overnight and it freaked me out for about 2 minutes. To get back on point.
Does anybody know what happend to Patreon's numbers? DC doubled his subs to 60k (now back on #3 of all creators in Patreon) when their redesign hit, while many other creators didn't get such big jumps. Is that some kind of bug or do they count subscribers in a different way by now?
Thanks, that certainly makes sense. I didn't even know that feature existed until you mentioned it now.I think they are adding in Followers which are considered "Free" Patrons now. My page tripled overnight and it freaked me out for about 2 minutes.

Yup, that's what Patreon is doing. I think it's in response to Subscribestar's having done similar in their numbers - to retain the perception of their lead in the subscription platform market.I think they are adding in Followers which are considered "Free" Patrons now
Graphtreon is working through breaking the numbers down to their components for more "realistic" data...We are currently rolling out Free Membership in stages through November, so these features might not be available to all creators yet.
Adjusting to Patreon's changes
With Patreon changing their patron count number to include all "free" members, we are working to change Graphtreon to adapt. We have the data to be able to separate free and paid members from each campaign for the past 2 months and going forward, but it is taking time to change all the things on Graphtreon.
We plan to be able to retroactively "fix" all the data that is showing on Graphtreon now. We plan to display both paid and free members separately for statistic tracking purposes.
Not really. There continues to be growth of paid members across Patreon (this graph shows up to just prior to the addition of the "free" members so as to be as consistent as possible).LMAO patreons numbers must be bad if the are adding free followers just to pump numbers up.
