You seem to have a number of problems with this game. Exit the game. Go to %appdata%\RenPy in your Windows File Explorer and delete the Summertime Saga folder there (these are the back up saves - you should still have your saves in the game folder). Start Game. See if it fixes it. If not, you'll NEED to go to the developer's discord and ask for help there to hope if someone there can help you. To make sure, you only are using the base game and the Chinese translation pack, correct?

Also is there a way to set the scenes at a certain speed? they all start too slow and choppy and I gotta click the faster button 3 times to get the animation to play smooth
Can I just set it so all the animations play at regular speed?

The early "animations" are just flipping back and forth between a number of still scenes. So, no - unless you mess with the coding, directly.

If you want to be very... very,very,very optimistic maybe the tech update will be release between spring 2024 (around march-april because that will be the third year anniversary of developing this nonsense of update).

If you are expecting something in the end of this year just don't, that is not going to happen...

Considering how Roxxy grew up, it's not that strange that she's got trouble saying "I love you", especially if MC is actually the first guy to truly wiggle himself into her heart. Her and Eve are actually not so different in that both have a fear about being hurt, but they go about it way differently. While Eve is shy and introverted, Roxxy built up this bitchy facade she needs to get over, but the lack of facade is also why Eve is more honest with her love for MC.

Honestly, for how goofy the writing can be because porn game, there's a surprising amount of heart put into it here and there.

I feel like Jenny has something going on too. Maybe not full out love, but she does get Jealous over MC when she finds out about Eve. Women tend to feel more Jealous about Emotional infidelity as apposed to men who lean more on the sexual infidelity side. So I would think Jenny is more upset about Eves connection to MC vs Eves connection to the dick. I could be reading into it to much though, and the story was never fleshed out more which was kind of sad. Feel like you could have built that out more leading to a Harlem Also wishful thinking on my part.

Let's see - quickly looking at twitter, he did catch a cold earlier this week. Also, I don't know if he lives in the USA but tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the USA. There will be a status report by the end of November on Patreon (and will be copy/pasted in this thread by Hero1 or another person the same day it is posted).

Since the "pre-tech"/rework update started, NLT media developer put out 2 fully fledged out massive games and are on their way to finish the 3rd one :

• Lust Epidemic
• Treasure of Nadia
• The Genesis Order (92% complete)

It's really crazy to think about it and compare it to other developers.

I hate being Summertime Saga fan (see you in 2030 boys).
