Isn't that subscription based these days? I know it's not hundreds of bucks, but it would still be ongoing costs.
It's really a neglectable sum/month for anybody who actually works with that kind of software somewhat professionally - we are talking about $35 or so.
Welp boys, it's gonna be over. If 4chan gets on this mans ass. It's game
Ultimately it's just a few people who didn't manage to move on. These or similar tables have been around for months and nothing has really changed.

Not rich but definitely living comfortably. And considering the money is split between him and 10 others, he's getting far less than people think.
Its certainly not an amount that would be worth milking or scamming. If he was trying to do either there's like a dozen better ways he could be doing it. I think progress just truly is going THAT slow. I don't think its artificial. I'm guessing it ended up being less of a tech update and more of a full remake.

Maybe maybe not it depends on how much his Patreon is actually getting could be as low $30,000 per month or on an average of say $5 dollar pledge per member $148,000 per month. But it's probably is closer to $200,000 per month.
But either way it makes no difference to me I just check the thread every so often.
If he's scamming that'll eventually bite him in the ass whenever that happens.

I believe its like 60-70k. Definitely less than 100k per month.

The only problem with the estimates I've seen is that none are actually official. There just guesses on the type of content and number of paid members.
Don't get me wrong it could only be around 70k, but I do know a couple of creators that make 2 times more than what the estimates say.
Now if there is an official estimate from Patreon itself I would love see it as I've never found one or I just don't know where to find it.

When's DC going to scrap the game to rework it in an anime style? He could milk that tech update for a long time.

Don't give these Patreon vultures any ideas.

Also just wanted to throw it out there: The game 'Kena: Bridge of Spirits' had a budget of 1 million. Just saying :KEK:

There is a game called 'Fort solis' , that game was made in unreal 5 with a team of 10 people and and it was developed in two years... That's why I don't get why the purple sunflowerguy (and others) here keep defending a 3 years development (In march will be 3 years of the announcement that work on the tech-update has begun) of a 'point and click' visual novel with 2d art in Ren'py... I mean others indie games (like fort solis) are made from scratch to end in more complex engines with more complex mechanics in a similar amount of time.
