This is his Golden Goose ( literally) he'll do anything to not end it.
I don't understand why is he doing this honestly. He could have just finish the game with all the promised content and then just live off selling the game artwork hell his patreons proved that they are willign to pay for jsut that.

He's already stated that their is no "end to the game" - that it could go on and on as long as he has ideas, fans enjoy it, etc. Said that as early as 2017. In a stream earlier this summer, he even stated he would like to have over 100, 200 characters in the game.
He enjoys coming up with ideas. He enjoys creating art. This will never end. The sooner people get used to that, the sooner they can get on with their lives.

then you should demand a refund
one major reason for the rework is because the old code was frankensteined together and was a miracle it was working at all. the rework is so that additional content can be created and included, and do some of the things he's wanted the game to do for years but couldn't because of the shoddy coding.
Sure buddy. If he wanted it could finish remake year ago and the add content he wanted but instead he milked the patreons.

Sure buddy. The game is not paywalled. It's 100% free to everyone directly from the developer's website.
Again, if the game was paywalled, this would be a different conversation.

as if i would ever pay this scammer any money. Which is the point. im open to supporting him, if he would be releasing content reliable at a moderate pace.
