I still don't see how 'they/DC' would care about the abandon tag on here... they are getting their money through Patreon right? And didn't someone point out that there is/was no real dip in income since it got the abandoned tag?
At that supporter level over there I don't think they give a flying fuck about what some degenerates on here write.
If this would be at their start of the rise to popularity sure... be consistent and release shit in a timed manner (whatever the hell that even means these days) :rolleyes:

I'm not saying he is NOT taking a piss with what they are releasing but some folks on here are overstating the current influence this thread has on the future game development.

One would have thought that people who claim that F95 really matters for this game got finally mugged by reality.
DC gained a significant number of patrons while the game was abandoned over here and he broke his all time paid members record just few days ago, while there hasn't been a single positive comment about the game in this very topic for months.

Most people believe there is a correlation mainly because of the very close timing of this all. Also the quality of the release makes it look rushed, not planned well in advance.
No dip in income was possible since he released the news of an update days before the game got the tag. This clearly superseded any other effect. The proof of life has also clearly worked very well for DC in terms of his increasing subs. Bad news for us as it means he's likely to continue to coast with his development.
Anyways this topic has already been discussed to death.

But your speech is clearly seeking justification for the DC's actions

The problem with your statements is that they have a clear position regarding DC
You can try to explain that you are neutral about this but you can't maintain it for long...
At this point, anything goes and any excuse will do, so no... it's not like that.

You really don't wonder why DC suddenly started to create a lot art for Jenny in february/march? I still recall some asking why that's the case and others (you among them, as far as I recall) telling others, that she's the most popular girl and that would be the reason. But sure, just a conincidence...

I don't really see that anybody is defending the result of the update to be honest.

I'm slightly cross about the fact, that that this topic went from being 95% useless to being 100% uesless. I couldn't find a single post which talks about the update. What are the changes beyond the first day in Jenny's story? Have there been any major bugs or does it really run as well, as it seems at first glance?

I'm actually starting to think that hardly anybody who is writing here has played the update in the first place...

We played the update and it sucked imagine the people who deleted everything to get only two stories imagine seeing the game's space thinking that the game has atleast cached up to the previous updates just to see that it's just a hollow game that takes up a huge amount of space what are we supposed to do when it takes up another chunk of space with just only two stories again finished imagine the game now takes up to 4gb to download but there are only 4 stories to play what is the point in that

so after like 3 years the new update finally dropped or partially dropped? they still haven't finished the update after all this time?
