For me, a story wonk, I know I'm doing it over to see what was changed and made different. I can't tell you if it's worth it since my priorities may be different from yours. Do you value story? Do you want to see how the Dex system changed? I'd say it's worth doing at least once just to figure it out.
I value Story, but more than that, I value concept, coherences and potentiality.
=> i don't care for bugs, they will be corrected soon enough
I tryed it, to see with my owns eyes : I got bored after 1 hour ... And frustrated by the new mecanics and the lack of opportunity :
- you can't buy quest objet before needing them anymore ... (pink store, objet in House, or even take the shovel in advance for Diana quest).
- in the same idea, you cannot open a door or a box if the story doesn't want you to. (it have been increased since 0.17.5)
- there isn't any replayability and with the path the dev seems to take, there won't be any :
= the story is linear, when we do it once, we did it until death ... (same goes for a lot of game) when a update is out, i only seek for the new things.
= all minigame seems to be here just to increase the time before completion ... I think player shouldn't wanna skip minigame, but try them and take pleasure from them (like undressing game, sexual posture game with interactions like lifting legs or anything ...)
- A word about coherences : when Jenny is in the kitchen and i bang Debbie, I want to know what should inevitably happen : being catch for ours lack of discretion ... (may be in futur update, but that mean the dev will have to rewrite and recreate all the scene and the interaction mecanics, again ... x) )
- etc etc ...
While time passed, I came to realise that my expectation exced what I can found in other's game. So I guess I should apply the french proverb "We are never better served by someone else than Ourself" and develop my own game.
(i hope it's undertandable, I'll think twice before making english trad myself xD )
