I did do the thing, but nothing changed. Is there supposed to be some dialogue that acknowledges that you "figured it out" or something? If so, maybe my game bugged. If not, then I don't know what's up. I physically see the password, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to, like, "claim" it besides just reading it as a real life human and understanding that's the password.

Perhaps you haven't done everything you need to do before getting to this part of the route. Have you confirmed you have done everything on Jenny's route in the Summertime Saga Wiki? Computer snooping comes after buying her the UltraVibe 2000.

Also, I am assuming you are playing the game without any mods, additions, translations, etc. This is the base game, nothing added to it, right?

OK, I just loaded an older save to test it out. It was absolutely impossible to miss. Just do everything the quest log tells you, when it tells you, and you should be able to log in.

Just to make sure: we are talking about her laptop password, which is: "BADMONSTER" without the quotes and without any blanks in it.

Basically, you buy her the UltraVibe 2000 thingy and some days later, after sleeping some times, youi end up thinking that now that she's in the shower, would be a good time to find out more about how she makes her money. You sneek into her room and find out about the camshows she does. Later, at night, after you figured out about her wanting to have that BAD MONDTER, you can use that as a password.
