So if ya'll could fill the four barn slots for Diane's business, not including Diane, who would you use?
Mrs. Smith, Roz, Sister Angelica and Tina.

My reasoning is very simple: biggest mommy milkers.
And I would also like to add another row for: Maria, Judith, Ms. Dewitt and Odette.

Well...

In reality DC is super aware of the underage issue and even refuseses to add really flat chested older girls because of it. So I think it's indeed really safe to say that there's no hint of loli at all in SS and that there won't be, ever.
What about the Kinetic Operating Network Terminal with Emotional Real‐Time Interface and Navigation Array, a.k.a. K.O.N.T.E.R.I.N.A for short, a.k.a. K‐bot, a.k.a the cutest little robot ever?? :p

On that note, I'm actually kinda sad that Rump's Thotbot turned out to be this unsexy. I mean, I can see why they did it that way, but it's probably the only potentially fuckable robot we'll get. It would have been nice to have something at bit more sexy for those who like that kind of content, given how easy it is to add a scene. But who knows, maybe they'll add a buyable update for "her" at some point.

At least I don't think DC will ever reach the point where we'll get content for Konterina or so. :ROFLMAO:

Speaking of Thotbot.
Honestly, she reminds me of a maid-robot from something like The Jetsons, just way less cute.

the progress bar stuck at 60% for 4 months or sum like whats this progress speed jeez
They probably expect income to drop below a certain level. It is better to earn more income and give a few of their resources to the patrons in the event of a fall. They don't want to offer all the resources they have at once. Otherwise, much better games can be made with this income.

How is tracker stuck for months = the devs not wanting to "give ressources" ? It just means they have the entire game to re-do scene by scene and don't bother to update something that was never up-to-date for any build ever

Stop babbling. Does love mean allowing a man to have sex with his wife?
In some cases, for some people, especially polyamorous ones or others who practice ethical non-monogamy, the answer is yes.
OK, normally I would not dig into this discussion, but you made me... confused...

I can accept that your daughter had a wife once. That ex-wife has two children, which are in the custody of your daughter now. So far sentence one.

Now your daughter (or her ex-wife, not so clear) has a husband, who accepts him (Who him? Your daughter, her ex-wife, the two children the ex-wife birthed, or himself? What?) as his own. That's sentence two.

Sentence three again makes some more sense, him being a loving father to them (the two children your daughter has in custody I assume).

Quite confusing situation...
Sorry, that should be them. one boy and girl, now in their teens. My daughter has custody, my daughter is the one who has a husband now.

The important thing about Tony is that he's extremely confident in all of this. He knows that Maria loves him and won't ever leave him so he doesn't even have to be jealouse. It's actually an angle of NTR/cuckolding that seems to be used rather rarely, probably because it kinda negates the whole thing to some degree.
Like I said long ago, Tony reminds me of a late friend of mine who was Italian American from Brooklyn. He and his wife were polyamorous, and they both had various lovers over the years. They usually had a rule that he had to be present the first time his wife was with someone new, but he trusted me enough to not require that.
I mean, in this case that isn't really fitting either, simply because it really doesn't seem like Tony is a masochist or has any stronger feelings attached to it. He wants a child and takes watching Maria getting fucked/having a threesome as benefit on top of that.
The way I view it is that Tony and Maria trusted and respected MC enough to ask this favor of him. As time went on, Maria and MC developed real feelings for each other, and Tony saw how Maria was getting such joy from it so he encouraged them to continue.
Doesn't that make Tony Cuckold
Is Maria trying to shame and belittle Tony? Is she trying to make him feel like "less than a man." They way I see it, Tony is quite secure and is not threated by MC and Maria's relationship.
No. It makes him a shrewd businessman, loving husband, and eager father.

Tony and Maria want a child. Tony is unable to make that happen with his own genes. I'm going to over-explain this, I know. However, a lot of this could be considered common knowledge or reasonable deduction. They have 3 (legal) options:

Did the developer take all this into account when they set up the plotline? Most likely not. At the same time, there appears to be some overthinking going on by some players.
Given Tony's history, no adoption agency is going to consider him.

no one can touch my wife
So your wife has a "hall pass" for Maisie Williams. Got it.

To be fair, I don't really see the feelings part in SS. Does she like to have a second good dick around and does she really agree with him the father? Sure, but I'd say that's basically it.
Given Tony's history, no adoption agency is going to consider him.
The alternative of MC fixing that issue is actually something I wished they would have added. I know it's a sex game, but given that it's supposed to be pretty sandboxy and given that we are talking about THE main story, I'm not really sure if it's good that MC has to actually impregnate someone/ fuck the whole Rump familly just to complete it.

Hello everyone. I was just wondering if I could get some different opinions on this. I'm planning on making something soon and want to figure out what people like most in these types of game. Summertime Saga has been massively successful obviously, and I'm wondering what in particular, in your opinion, separates it from it's competition. Is it the writing, sandbox, art (2D vs 3D, original art vs repurposed, like in the games that use Koikatsu Party), etc. And where does competition fall short? Or do you think the success is more luck, marketing, or something else? If anyone is willing to take the time to answer, thank you very much!

I am sure people will give you personal reasons why they like it over other games or include it in their favorite games list ... but from a business standpoint:
  • It was one of the first adult games on here, so it didn't have to cut through a lot of competition once people found it.
  • Of the first 65 games here - it is one of about 20 that is still actively developing.
  • The developer kept adding new characters and side quests, didn't let it get too stale over the past 5.5 years.
  • Although the art wasn't "great" - it was interesting enough for people to enjoy the scenes and the developer goes back to make tweaks to the designs, as well as the format (4x3 to 16x9)
  • The content/storyline was more taboo in the past than mainstream games and some adult games already in the field - with a different age setting (not in college) and living arrangement (a bit more familial) during a time that wasn't as pronounced.
  • Because the developer hasn't stopped adding content, it has continues to draw more people in that want to have a lot of things to do rather than just playing a v0.00001 game that has 10 minutes of playtime - it's a known product with a shelf-life.
  • Because it's an older game - because livestreaming and playthrough videos are a thing, it gained more popularity because of the word of mouth from those gameplay videos on youtube and adult video sites.
  • Developer gets contributors involved with the decision making process of the next focus of development, having polls and using them to produce the next content.
  • Has "reasonable" patreon donation levels - as low as $1 per month.
  • Developer livestreams pretty regularly a few hours at a time while working on designs - keeping engaged with the most supportive of fans.

in the last streaming I saw that he designed the mezzanine of the stable.
Will there be new content for Cowgirl in the next update or for Diane?

I'm one of the people who prefer games that are more story driven, so I may be in the minority (though there are a number of us here).

In the games I'm developing, a lot of what I'm doing is contrary to many of the common tropes. What I look for/what I'm doing is:
  • Adult relationships: I'm avoiding the "barely legal" and "legal, really (wink wink)" tropes. I'm not planning on any high school or college games. There are plenty of those out there. I'm also planning on avoiding incest stories, in part because I consider them to be weak shortcuts to avoid actual plot and character development. Also, plenty of those already in existence.
  • Ethical Non-monogamy: My games are going to rely heavily on consent. No cheating as the norm (I may have a side character do it as a deviation from the norm), no sleep rapsex, scenes. Sharing, but no stealing.
  • 3D models: I don't feel I have enough drawing talent yet to make a hand-drawn 3D game, so I'm using Daz assets. That said, I have a lot of respect for the developers of hand-drawn games.
  • Posing: I feel it is important to put in the effort to use common everyday poses, not just the photo studio/boudoir poses so common on the market. If you are doing 3D assets, realistic posing and expressions can make a lot of difference. Lighting too.
  • Choice of models: This might be controversial, may seem counter intuitive, but I prefer it when a developer does not make every female character "look like they just stepped out of a Victoria's Secret catalog." It may be an "Alpha Male Power Fantasy" to have every LI look like a model, but I think games with a normal distribution is more relatable. In the case of SummertimeSaga, there are many body types included, but skewed a little toward the porn tropes.
  • Story driven: I prefer games where the sex is an outgrowth of the story rather than the story being a frail bridge to move us from one sex scene to another.
I would suggest you make a choice. Do you want to enter the market by playing it safe with those common tropes in the hope of being successful (Business focus) or do you have a drive to tell stories you have inside of you, where patronage is an added bonus (Art focus)? The art focus approach is riskier, but based upon what I've seen here, I feel there are enough out there who will appreciate the heart felt project to make it worth the risk. That, of course, is my approach, so I am probably a bit biased. ;)

Those are all very good points about STS. It was the game that introduced me to this genre, and I found it by seeing a walkthrough on PH. Trans Eve's story was what hooked me.

Thank you very much for your comment, to you as well Count Morado! Cheap as this answer is, I'd prefer to have my cake and eat it too. I think I can tell stories that I think are compelling, while still appealing to the broader market. I'll try at least.

Yes, if those are the stories you want to tell, more power to you! A win-win for you!
