This game needs a tech update for sure.
Started a new game after the recent update and I had reload the game so many times from past checkpoints and a full restart to complete the whole plot.
Roxxy's path is bugged, Diane's path is bugged, eve's path had bugs and if started early one has to wait for so long to progress in other characters path because you cannot have conversations with her on many path. Had many quests that started again after completing them.
I am happy that the decision was made.
If the dev did things better the code rehaul should have finished by now but I guess late than never.

Hey so the update changeling only says 7 animations, besides the 5 scenes with the Russians, what are the other 2?

I had a thought for a plotline I'd like to see... Maybe a bit heavy.
I think there's room to expand on Dexter's home-life, with an abusive father always pushing him to be the Alpha male. But once he get's put down by the MC, maybe have Judith find him crying in the bathroom. I'm my head I see him saying something like, "Look at me... You must think I'm pathetic, crying in a toilet stall." Followed by the reply, "Why do you think I come in here?"
All of which could resolve the characters with him walking into the prom with her on his arm, and proudly so.
Just a thought, but I like it.
Goes against most of the game, so never happening. Aside the massive riot NTR'ers would pitchfork if anything not MC's schlong came close to any girl (3somes with Erik and other stuff before you start the routes notwithstanding)

Sounds like a you problem : you didn't save in the 2 safe spots, you started 3+ routes at once, you probably skipped a few updates and the game said nope

Rejoice though : everything you just did to wade through all those "bugs" will be for nothing once the tech build comes out in a few months/years and your save deletes itself

Keep in mind "7 animations" doesn't mean "7 scenes". There's a bunch of angle swaps that count as +1 animation but are still the same scene. Changelog lists everything in detail too (not the OP 1)

Downloaded and placed the incest patch in the game directory but relationship did not change. Please help
I'm probably WAY off but noticed incest patch is 20.5 ( which numerically comes after 20.15). A lot of devs use the numbers differently: 20.5, 20.6, 20.7....20.13, 20.14, 20.15 - so maybe it's outdated?

(the post(s) you're referencing are deleted - but so that someone isn't confused)
The developer doesn't make the patch for Summertime Saga and the patch is a replacement patch (for example: when script says "a", use "b" instead). Since it affects only Debbie, Jenny, and Diane - all three of whom have had no content updates since v0.20.5 or before - the patch is still up to date.

Yup. You are way off. See #3 in the FAQ 7 posts above yours #67,252.

Also, 5 comes before 15, not after - it's not a decimal. In most cases, the period is used to simply to separate: Major Version . Minor Version . Patch.

Also, 5 comes before 15, not after - my whole point of the numerical 'versus dev count' comment

but I guess it need repeating?

Wait, what? Ok. I see my confusion from reading your post. And yes, it did need repeating.

If you want the whole truth about versioning, I suggest taking a look here:

You should not think -- especially not in the context of Summertime Saga -- about mathematical numbers, and a mathematical sequence of version numbers. In fact Summertime Saga's version numbers are not even numbers because they do not contain only one but two dots. There is no version 20.5 nor 20.15, but 0.20.5 or 0.20.15. The mathematical interpretion of a number with two dots would be new to me. Instead, think of them as three separate integers, separated by dots. This makes it immediately clear that 0.20.5 comes before 0.20.15. Or it would mean that if we were talking about the same thing, which we are not -- the one is the game and the other is the incest patch. Which happens to have the same numbering.

Concur. My old phone with Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android agrees with you, but Gingerbread is still a little spicy about the whole thing.

Sounds like a you problem
User finding bug in a software is a dev problem, that is basics of software development. Heck, that is the basic for any project development. Its not like I am complaining of some issue unrelated to this game.

you didn't save in the 2 safe spots
I did, it was how I was able to reload to previous checkpoints. Do you read to what you reply.

The fun of playing a sandbox game is that I don't have to follow a linear route to finish the game. If the player has to follow a perfect script to finish this game, the sandbox tag should be removed.
I started a new game for the update so how does it matter if I skipped a few updates.

I was complimenting the dev for making a sound decision by doing the code rehaul because any new player would be discouraged to play this game if the dev only focused on content and not the playability. I don't know how that can be triggering. Was my point not clear?
Am I not aloud to share my experience on a discussion thread for the game I am talking about?

"User" being only you bugging out in 3 different routes at once is still only you. And no1 else since before 2018. So yes, it's a you problem. Sandbox has nothing to do with anything if the game fucks itself when you go into 3+ routes at once, it doesn't if you go only 1 at a time. Shocking.

Try reporting it to the bugreport (you have to pay to gain access) and provide a save file. Either they'll laugh at you or find new bugs that no1 else managed to in ~4 years

If the game allows the player to do something you have to believe the player will do it. If player is allowed to enter more than one route at a time, the user will do it. It is the devs job to cover these cases by either making sure a user doesn't enter more than one route at a time or make sure user doesn't get bugs when they do.

These are fundamentals of project development taught in engineering course. If the dev is not familiar with it they can learn something new. Blaming the user because of oversight on the devs part is a fundamental mistake.

I am sure the dev knows his shit, they have made good decisions so far. His work is simple but fun and now they are going for code overhaul which will help them keep track of issues and make the development process easier.

If the community is laughing at anyone trying to share their experience and report bugs, they are, knowingly or unknowingly becoming a blockade to the development process. I hope the dev is smarter and listens to his players even if they are repeating what has already been mentioned or at least pretend.

They still warned dudes to not save anywhere aside 2 places and that saves are compatible since 0.18, over 4 years ago. People still don't do any of those 2 and "bug" out. Design flaw all you want, people still play like lamers and crash themselves, after being warned.

Does anyone have an order to make Eve a woman? Because I made the wrong choice for her to be a man and didn't save it before.(I don't want to play again).
Either phone hack her into losing her schlong (dunno if it's even in there), restart (might be able to autoload before the choice if you didn't go far enough afterwards), try srk's mod (again a big "maybe") or go the console way (that'll 99%+ wreck the rest of the game)

Not everyone is up to date. I never knew you could only save in 2 places (I'm assuming it's the map and bedroom) or maybe I forgot. Because my life doesn't revolve around a porn game and I just boot it up to play.

People are just playing a sandbox game how a sandbox game is meant to be played, if there are any bugs or crashes by doing so, then that's on the developer of the software. It's basic knowledge.
